I wouldnt worry. We had plenty of food and drink and a large choice of both. We didnt feel the need to pay extra for the items on the menu which were charged for,such as steak and lobster. You can get as much as you want from the buffet and its great for breakfast and dinner. We did have room service a couple of times which just incurred a tray charge. The mini bar was always restocked in a morning and we were never charged for any drinks we had out of there. Hope you have a wonderful holiday like we did

FB is not the same as AI - AI includes a (more than adequate) selection of drinks from 11am until 11.30pm - at the bars, poolside, and in the restaurants. You can get an idea of the drinks that are included by looking for the menu on the Mystique restaurant's own web pages. The AI drinks include apart from the usual cokes/juices etc, the excellent local beers, wines inc some sparkling, cocktails, gin, rum etc. Like the reply above we found the food items included more than adequate. Lunch at the Beach Grill you could have a good 3 course meal and again dinner at Kangan an excellent 3 courses (though we rarely made it to the dessert). At the end of the week our only extras were 125 rupees (about £2.70) for some almonds and a few quid for a cooking lesson. We were there last month so our info is up to date. I think the post that worried you was for a stay last June and the policies may have been different. If you are at all worried send an email to the hotel (as I did before we went) and they will outline what you will get with AI. I am sure you will relax and enjoy your holiday - we did! ask if there is anything else you want to know.
