We got upgraded to a superior room so got to experience the heated floor. Those tiles can get cold at night so this is a great touch. It was a beautiful room with majestic views of the mountains. Staff was very hospitable. Dinner was fine, but not memorable, breakfast was good. It is worth the walk to the front door...

Great berber room with under floor heating, lovely mattress, nice bathroom. Abdou, the Manager, and the team ( Hassan, Lhoussain and the others) were just great. Made us feel like home during our 3 night stay and arranged for us to have a guide to the Toubkal. We will definitely be going back!!! Houda & David

This is a great place. They were brilliant with our large family of 12. Lovely large comfy bedrooms with very nice ensuite bathrooms. It all felt very authentic but was very comfortable - under floor heating in the bedrooms for those cold evenings. Very good food. The owner was very helpful with our walking and organised guides for us and...

We wanted to head into the mountains on this trip and booked Dar Imil for our stay. Great choice. We booked one of the best rooms - underfloor heating (great for the chilly nights) and our daughters were in a 'standard' room which was really nice too. Nice terraces (must be lovely in more summer months). Communal meal in the...

It seemed so relaxed after the hustle, bustle and harassing of Marrakesh. The hotel arranged reasonably priced transfer. They serve Moroccan food and it was excellent with a Moroccan style continental breakfast. If you fancy European Pub Grub talk to them they are friendly and helpful, you never know. The rooms are ensuit and like the whole place clean and...

We visited in November. With a chill in the air and beautiful spring colours in the valley. The hotel offered great food. The best we had in Morocco. The room was big and pleasing. Somewhat lacking in the bathroom though. Great view on the top balcony.

We stayed for 2 nights, 3 days. Abdou was quick to respond to emails before we arrived. He organised a reliable taxi driver that picked us up from our Riad in Marrakech on time in a comfortable car. You do pay a lot more for this service but it takes out the hassle of the grand taxis. We had a...

Have stayed here with a group each year for 7 years. Abdou and staff ensure you are made to feel at home in this very comfortable and traditional riad. Nothing is too much trouble and the food is great value, fresh and the kitchens are immaculate. Good location just above the centre of the village. Hire a guide and get...

Imlil is a small cluster of villages, which has recently been sustained by tourists coming to trek in the mountains. The town itself doesn't have much to see -- what you're there for are the breathtaking views and opportunities in the mountains! Dar Imlil feels like home, which is a nice change of pace from the larger cities. You can...

This place is great. From the get-go, we had clear and prompt emails from Abdou (manager) while we were planning our visit and organising a trek up Toubkal. The riad is located in the centre of the village near the bridge and waterfall. It is set in the trees a little farther up the hill, which removes some of the...
