This lodge has all it takes for a great stay near lake Manyara. Good and comfortable tents, fully equipped. Friendly staff and nice food with set menus for lunch and dinner. Location is close to the park entrance which makes for a short commute to the wildlife

Kirurumu Manayre Lodge is about a 30 minute drive from the main entrance to the Lake Manure National Park. The last 6 km are a bit bumpy, but the elevated position of the camp makes the drive well worth it. The bar and restaurant area have great views of the Lake Manure Park. Rooms 20-26 have the same view. Upon... More

Great rooms - very clean and comfortable with great porches and views. Staff is very helpful, food is good and it’s close proximity to Lake Manyara. We stayed here during our honeymoon in Tanzania and would highly recommend for anyone traveling in the area.

After visiting the Manyara national park we arrived at the Kirurumu Manyara Lodge. Our "tented" room was by far larger than we expected and we had a beautiful view over the Manyara valley and park. The room had a double and single bed, all the facilities hot and cold water. All the mosquito nets were whole. The room lacked doors... More

This was not the nicest tented lodge we stayed at in Tanzania, partially due to the older tents and partially because there seemed to be zero privacy. Even though the tents were separated by bush, sound traveled extremely well between them and there were a lot of human and domestic animal noises from a village nearby. Room #6 has a... More

We booked this lodge through Basecamp Tanzania. It was a wonderful break from our daily driving safaris with a great view and relaxing pool! The staff was friendly and we enjoyed having dinner with our guide, Joseph!

Our permanent tent was beautiful, all we needed & more- comfy beds, balcony with a view of the lake & valley below. We left the tent flap open & only closed the screen, so the sunrise shone in to welcome us to the amazing African colours! The lodge itself had a lounge that you could only gasp at the view... More

Pros: Nice tented camp, great views from each of the lodges, great bar with excellent view (lake and village) Cons: Our guide/driver was not allowed to have dinner/breakfast with us. Food was regular.
