Stayed here for two nights during our tour of Tanzania. We had a fab twin level tent / structure built into the rock face with a wonderful view over Lake Manyara. Staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs.Great bar area again with fab views over the Rift Valley.Restaurant area was very attractive with good service and very nice food...

lovely place set in natural surroundings on the edge of the rift valley plateau, we enjoyed our stay very much. Friendly staff great bar and restaurant good food and nice and silent area. The " tents' are in fact luxury rooms set in a natural park, overlooking the Manyara Lake Area,

We wanted to experience a tented camp as part of our safari trip. Manyara was one place which was affordable. I personally like the tented camp. Our tent had a very great view of Manyara lake. During the night and early morning we could hear the sound of the wind, birds chirping and feel all the fresh air. It was...

Thank you for your wonderful review of Kirurumu Manyara Lodge and we were so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We so agree with you why come all this way to East Africa on safari and not try out a traditional but comfortable under canvas experience? Its how safaris were invented and how we are supposed to experience the sights and...

Now, I must stress that I may not be not entirely objective about this hotel, since this is the place in which I proposed to my fiancee. Seriously, though, this is an exquisite property! Location is excellent, affording you a great view of the wonderful Lake Manyara. Tents are really spacious, clean and comfortable, equipped with great beds, full bathrooms,...

We stayed for one night at Kirurumu Manyara Lodge. it was an excellent experience. The common zones are luxurious and the bar has spectacular views to the Manyara Lake. The lodges/tents are really separated between them (ours was at a 7 min walk from reception) but it adds intimity in a place were there are no wildlife-dangers at night (so...

I stayed there as part of a safari trip. I didn't have any pre-conceptions of what it might be like. The lodge provides a sense of being remote (the road to get to the lodge is a little worse for wear). I stayed in the furthest hut from the main building and it seemed like there was no one else...

My stay here with my 14 year old daughter was such a fun and happy experience! The tents/villas are great with full bathroom inside the villa as well! You feel like you are in the bush camping, but much more comfortable. The beds and sheets where very comfortable and everything has been thought of... The staff (especially in the dining...

It's been said already, but the views here truly are stunning. Our tent suite was very comfortable with a huge bed and more than adequate furnishings. Views from the balcony were beautiful and both the tent and balcony seemed very private. The bathroom was in need of some updating... sink stoppers didn't work properly and some of the fixtures were...

This was the lodge/camp I was most looking forward to during my recent safari. Unfortunately I was quite disappointed. My friend and I were given the upstairs “kids room” of a family cottage. Luckily we were travelling as a group and knew the couple who had the downstairs room because the connecting door didn’t lock. Our room had very little...

I stayed at this property as part of my organised safari. The view over the escarpment is beautiful, and public areas are laid out to appreciate this. However the restaurant can get quite cold at night (so bring a jacket). As we had 3 people we couldn't get a tent that had a view. To be honest the back tents...
