We stayed her mid June and found it to be all we could wish for the one night stay. We found all locals in Tanzania friendly and all the staff here were no exception. The views over the lake particularly from the pool were great. Bedroom and all public areas clean and tidy. Bar and restaurant offer good efficient service

After a very bumpy start to our East Africa adventure we finally landed in Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. We stayed one night. The surrounding area is abundant of birdlife and the view from the pool area is amazing. The rooms are in buildings that look like a two storey yurt. It's very pretty. The food is excellent and plentiful. The... More

The staff here were very helpful and friendly and the bird life around the hotel was amazing. Plenty of sunbirds, kingfishers, woodpeckers and finches. Our rooms were adequate, each with a small verandah.

On safari in the Serengeti region and found this most delightful resort. First class in every aspect, staff is over the trip helpful, grounds are amazing, meals delicious, nothing left to ask for! Beautiful lake views, great pool and bar on site, easy access to the major safari areas.

We stayed here for the last night of our trip to Kenya and Tanzania. Attractive lodge with lots of rooms and many guests... Free wi-fi in the rooms as well, which was nice Food was excellent! Nice landscaped gardens and evening entertainment at the poolside. Rooms were good. The Manyara park itself was quite a let-down, with very limited sightings,... More

A one nite stay in early May following day in Lake Manyara NP before we moved to the Ndutu area of the Serengeti. Usually we stay at the Kirurumu Tented Lodge but thought the landscaping with small ponds and flowing water, as advertised for the Serena, might make for interesting bird habitat and a different stay. The Serena as a... More

We had a very enjoyable stay here in May. The staff were excellent, as was the food. We had a nice little room with beautiful views over Lake Manyara. The pool was very nice and relaxing. Our whole stay was pretty much faultless and I look forward to returning one day.

The lodge and surroundings were spectacular. Beautiful, pristine, gorgeous pool, fantastic sweeping views from the pool. The restaurant setting was tasteful. The room was fair but the bed was a plastic pad. I was awake because it felt as if I was on the floor. The mattress was unbearable. The food was good and all else was fine but the... More
