Our trip to Mnemba was as expected "Perfecto". This is our first review, in pert as a well deserved reward for the amazing staff and part a recommendation to future travellers. A short hop off the already stunning island of Zanzibar, lays the postcard oasis of Mnemba. A place that would surely win a prize for the bluest water and...

Mnemba truly is a paradise island, the whitest sand and the bluest water we have ever seen, if you are looking for a complete recharge then this is the place. Everything from the amazing butlers to the resident pod of dolphins we could not fault anything about our stay. We would like to give a special mention to Ingrid the...

What a beautiful location/island, clear blue warms waters and the finest white sand I have ever seen but unfortunately during our first night (in room 11) we were awoken at 3am by the noises of the doves that visit the island from the mainland every night, I am not taking about a few but hundreds and settle in and around...

Beautiful private island with a serene setting. Tons of privacy. Loved the open air villa--felt very relaxed and unique. Service was excellent. Food was great and incorporated a ton of fresh seafood. Had the treat of watching sea turtles hatch. Excellent SCUBA diving

It was not our first visit to Mnemba, but we keep being amazed about how perfect and out-of-this-world this place is! The water is just more blue, the sand more white, the dolphins coming close to the beach, each room is its own house, its rustic luxury and beauty for the eye. New addition is a private wooden banda on...

We were on our honeymoon, & were absolutely thrilled. It took a night or two to settle into the rhythm of the island & work out the quirks of our cottage (number 12), and in the end we felt this was almost a private nature & marine safari. It was an adventure from start to finish and we saw so...

my wife and i spent a week @andBeyond Mnemba Island Lodge on the tail end of our honeymoon. getting there is no easy task (will take you at least two flights, a drive and a short boat ride), but it is definitely worth it! "barefoot luxury" sums it up nicely (we took our shoes off before boarding the boat on...
