We enjoyed the clean and spacious rooms in this lovely house. Aboud is very welcoming and made us feel home. It is well located next to one of the main roads but not in the middle of the town hustle. Would stay there again

Situated in a quiet part of town, Hiliki House is nevertheless within easy walking distance of the whole of the old town and close to the terminus of the Daladala from the airport. Rooms are well appointed and amenities are good. The lounge is a place you can really feel to occupy and although the honesty bar is rather pricey,...

This property is more of a home than a hotel, guests are given a front door key rather than have 24hr staff, which gives the place an authentic and laid back charm. It is within walking distance of the ferry and all other attractions in Stone Town. Air con, wifi and hot water all work well. Rooms are spacious and...

A beautifully furnished, quiet, comfortable place to stay within very easy walking distance of Stone Town's many attractions, and at a great price. The staff are very friendly and helpful, too! I would certainly recommend this guest house.

A traditional Stonetown house turned into a hotel. Each of the few rooms is gorgeous transporting you in another world. Excellent taste, excellent breakfast, excellent bed, shower, etc. Across from a large park, the greenery is omnipresent. A special thank you to the hotel manager and his uncanny way to recommend the best in Stonetown.

A tastefully furnished, quiet, comfortable place to stay within very easy walking distance of Stone Town's many attractions. Delicious breakfast, and so important after our wonderful but dusty camping safari, a lovely shower! I wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed 3 nights and one night at either end of our recent holiday on the island. Through the kind help of Aboud at the Hiliki we also arranged affordable (i.e. money saving) taxis to and from the airport as well as to our onward destination across the island. We found Hiliki to be nicely located, safe, clean, charming and...

While it's not the swankiest hotel in stone town it provides the bare minimum. The hotel is split into two buildings sitting side by side. There is always two people watching the place by 24 hrs and and requires a key to enter the building and then another key to enter your own room. The hotel is very simple. Staff...

Hiliki House provides a very good value for money to stay a couple of nights and explore Stone Town. Situated just steps away from the beach and market, it is very convenient to walk anywhere. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated and the living room area is gorgeous with big windows and nice lounge areas set up. This is also...

Hiliki House is a good place to stay in a nice quiet area just a short walk to the beachfront and sites such as Darajani bazaar, the old fort and the palace museum. We felt safe walking around at night. The rooms were a decent size, comfortable, and had a great colonial feel and the female staff (cleaners and kitchen...
