Even the long drive to get to the Wilderness Camp is beautiful and plenty of wildlife. The canvas covered cabins are beautifully appointed. The main item that has to be managed is the hot water for the shower. It is heated by a solar system and brought to each cabin, after reserving a time, in jerry cans and put into... More

Stayed here one night and it's such a gorgeous and relaxing spot. We're were travelling with a toddler and Bernard, the deputy manager, was wonderful with her. The tents give you a sense of the wilderness but are very comfortable. We did the sundowner package which was spectacular and they thought of everything (bar, canapés, toilet, Rangers and great views).... More

This camp is located in the Ishasha section of QENP and has a real wilderness feel as there are no fences. It is located next to a river with amazing wildlife on the doorstep. We were the only guests and the staff made us feel like celebrities. There was a member of staff for our every need. The room was... More

Once again, we only spent one night here, but it was such a delight. From the "bush" shower to the personal chef cooking our eggs to perfection in the morning, everything was wonderful. The view and sound of the river flowing beside the lodge was another treat for the senses.

I stayed here for three nights and loved it - the park is not large so I don't recommend more than three nights. The lodge is right in the heart of the park, which saves you at least 30 minutes of sleep for early morning game drives. The staff cold not have been nicer, every one of them is genuinely... More

We absolutely loved this lodge...from the "bucket" shower to the lovely river views to the amazingly lovely candlelight dinner (with delicious food!). Excellent service and just the right combination of rusticity and pampering. Great spot.

Stayed two nights at the Ishasha Wilderness Camp while on Safari in Western Uganda. The camp is beyond belief! The setting is pristine wilderness, on the banks of a river, with one main building for relaxing, eating, etc., and 10 'tents' set along paths through the trees along the river. Each tent includes a huge main area with 1-2 beds... More

Although the hotel is beautiful, with tranquil views, lovely rooms and unique hot showers. The highlight for us remains our game drives and this was mainly due to our ranger - he picked up our interests in birds and ensured that he stopped for some amazing bird pictures as well as finding the hyena pups and tree climbing lions (despite... Only stayed here for one night but it was very pleasant, set in a stunning riverside location of peace and tranquility...watching lizards and fire flies dotting about their homes was truly special for any nature lover. Seemingly basic after the locking doors of the previous lodges, the ordering of a wake up call and warm water for a shower, to... More

Our tent overlooked the river with views of abundant wildlife - hippos, birds, butterflies, and more. This is an open camp that the animals can enter, so you need a guide at night to walk you back to your tent. The main lodge has a roof, but no walls, so even in rain, it still feels as if you are...
