My wife and I stayed at the Ishasha Wilderness Camp for just one night on our way from the Fort Portal area to Bwindi. We wish we had booked for another night. The camp is beautifully situated on a bend in a lazy river and has a campfire at the waters edge. The tent we occupied was spacious and very...

A third place we visited ten years ago and which was on our must do list. The camp has now evolved to ten tents, we got a remote one on our request (buffalo's around at night) The tents are big and have all comfort, showers are still bucket style, but has proved not to be single problem. The staff are...

Sadly, I only spent one evening at this lovely camp. All aspects of Ishasha Wilderness Camp are amazing. It is located on the Ntungwe River and is unbelievably scenic. The staff is wonderful and the tents are beautiful. Staff made me feel safe and comfortable. Food and wine were memorable.

Last year, 2014 my wife and I spent some time with Wild Frontiers at Bakers Lodge in Murchison NP. We enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to try another of their products, Ishasha Wilderness Camp in Queen Elizabeth NP. The location of the camp could not be better, it is true wilderness. The staff, accommodation and food are...

Drove here from Mweya Safari Lodge, via one of the dullest, longest and most tedious game-free areas that we have ever encountered - dreadfully disappointing, as we had been heard such tales of how rich in game the QE is. Guess, we were just unlucky and that can happen. Then suddenly (albeit after a good while), we found the renowned...

The Camp is a superbly run, almost luxurious lodge in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth Park. The staff is extremely professional, yet friendly and courteous. They went out of their way to give us a nice 40th wedding anniversary celebration Ugandan style and were very helpful aiding us to change our Kampala/Entebbe reservations around when our plane back to...

We chose this camp as the one place to splurge and it was an excellent decision. The staff are all very professional, many have worked at other luxury lodges around Africa. The luxury "tent" housing made you feel like royalty and the food reminded me of fancy meals in NYC. But most importantly the full immersion in the QENP with...

Even the long drive to get to the Wilderness Camp is beautiful and plenty of wildlife. The canvas covered cabins are beautifully appointed. The main item that has to be managed is the hot water for the shower. It is heated by a solar system and brought to each cabin, after reserving a time, in jerry cans and put into...

Stayed here one night and it's such a gorgeous and relaxing spot. We're were travelling with a toddler and Bernard, the deputy manager, was wonderful with her. The tents give you a sense of the wilderness but are very comfortable. We did the sundowner package which was spectacular and they thought of everything (bar, canapés, toilet, Rangers and great views)....

This camp is located in the Ishasha section of QENP and has a real wilderness feel as there are no fences. It is located next to a river with amazing wildlife on the doorstep. We were the only guests and the staff made us feel like celebrities. There was a member of staff for our every need. The room was...
