Stayed for two nights at this lodge, and it is really wonderful -- the best place I've stayed in in Uganda. The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating, the food was good, and the rooms were amazing. The new managers are professional, welcoming and very accomodating. The fact that you can sleep on your balcony under the stars was a...

Excellent location with amazing views. Love the beds on wheels that can be moved outside. The food was pretty good and the staff went out of their way to help us out and set everything up for a large group.

Amazing place, very well managed place. Very professional and food is fantastic. Compared this lodge to others in Uganda, one of the best places we stayed at during our trip. The people are friendly and professional.

We spent one day at the Katara lodge on our way from Bwindi to chimp tracking, and we had an amazing stay there. The lodge is gorgeous, perched on a cliff overlooking the beautiful valley below. If you're lucky you might see elephants or other wildlife from your room, and you'll definitely be treated to delicious food and some of...

We drove up from Rwanda to visit the QE national park and stayed here for 2 nights. It's quite a bumpy ride to get to the hotel from the main road, but I guess that's the norm in Africa. We weren't sure if we should stay so far from the park, but it was worth the experience. The people were...

Stunning views over the rift valley, elephant spotting from your room, great staff, four course dinners AND a roll top bath! This lodge is beautiful and the clear winner out of seven we stayed in in Uganda.Nearby activities include game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, a fantastic boat trip on the Kazinga Channel and spotting chimps in the gorge.

we stayed 2 nights at Katara and enjoyed it very much. Charming cottages, great food, motivated staff...in fact it was the nicest lodge we had in all Uganda!!! 3 things i want to mention though: 1. the N.P. is a 45 minute drive away, so not that close as you might think 2. the pool was not very clean, a...

This was by far the best lodge we stayed at during our time in Uganda. The lodges are amazingly decorated, the view is simply breathtaking and the service is outstanding. The staff was always there, whatever we needed. Dinner was great too. Amazing steaks and pork chops, yumm! The only thing I would ask the management is to replace the...

This hotel is amazing! It overlooks the stunning Queen Elizabeth National Park and the views are breathless. It's really hard to tear your eyes away from it - it really is that beautiful. Our room was incredible. The standout was the roll-out bed on wheels, which we used to sleep out on the balcony. It was simply amazing going to...
