The Name hits the point: The main area provides no concrete buldings, but tents in the middle of the outback bush. Which illustrates another interesting theme by "nature lodges". Selfcontained tents are under one roof with the bio-toilet and a seating area. Bandas provide a bathroom with a toilet inside. The showers are in any case under the sky outside...

A few practical things to know first - you get small bars of soap, toilet paper and towels in both the self contained tents and the bandas. The toilet (glorified long drop) is outside in the sc tent and inside in the bandas. Showers are outside in both. I understand you can have water heated for a shower in the...

I really enjoyed my stay at Bush Lodge. From the porch I was able to watch elefants, hippos and many different birds. The staff was really friendly and helpful and even baked a surprise cake for my friends parents as it was their 35 years wedding day - really nice gesture.

We stayed here after the visit of Queen Elizabeth national park. Staff is perfect as in all other nature lodges, the tents were clean and the food very good. For us nature lodges are the best price quality ratio in uganda.

The dining area was excellent with tables around a central fire and the food and service were both excellent. The tented accommodation was a little basic but the outdoor shower was very refreshing and it was very quiet

The Bush Lodge is a popular resort in a great location close to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The service is friendly and the food is delicious. But the rooms are basic so know what you are signing up for! Hot water for showers is provided upon request - a tank is filled via buckets and the shower is in the...

I am a senior female and traveled solo. This was one of the 3 eco lodges I stayed at on my 8 day trip. I only stayed for 1 night and that was enough. I may not be a fair reviewer in this instance because although I do not require luxury I do have some requirements and this lodge did...

Very basic accommodation that might not suit all, but its the experience and location that makes this place worthwhile. The bucket shower under the open skies just adds to the fun. If you get lucky some of the larger wildlife will walk right past your hut and the grounds.
