$250 a night? I have never spent this amount of money on a night at a hotel. Had no choice this time and this was the least expensive of the Dead Sea Hotels at the time. The room was very nice. Bathroom lovely. The grounds are in need of upgrading. The pools have tiles coming off. Lounge chairs were not... More

The Dead Sea at Eyn Bokeq, Israel is breathtaking and invigorating. Throughout our experience, and we've vacationed numerous times at the Dead Sea, the Fall is the best time. It is not too hot. Rainy season with fear of flooding , which could close main roads, has not arrived. The kids are back in school, so its quieter for the... More

I spent 2 nights in the David which used to be Meridian in the past. It is one of the mega hotels that were built with the architecture of the 80's, to me it looks like it is too big to sustain. The pool is great (although part of it is close - don't know why). The view from the... More

There were no bed sheets when I arrived to my room, although the receptionist said that the room was ready for us. When we asked for assistance on the matter we were answered with a degrading attitude and ennui from the crew. The hotel crew made my first day miserable, the food was poor, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to... More
