Excellent situation on Dead Sea side in Ein Bokek. Spa is nice as the numerous special hot special water pools, but so crowded!! Service is average, no more. Rooms quite small, needs some maintenance work. Restaurant has an outside area with a splendid view on the sea & Judean mountains. Food only average.

We stayed only for one night, sadly, however, every one of our needs was catered to. Any request we had or question we had was answered quickly an efficiently. The rooms are very nice with many amenities and with a beautiful view. I would stay here again

Perfect place for a short rest if you like the Dead Sea. We arrived by car with a family, bought a ticket to the SPA. It includes access to the SPA center, lunch (buffet line) access to the beach of the Dead Sea. We are very satisfied: the optimal balance between price and quality for several days

The Hod is not much more or less than other hotels in the area. It is one of three hotels with direct beach/sea access, which is comfortable and pleasant. Free international calls are offered and can be appreciated. The rooms are clean and you can see the effort which is made to maintain the standard. The spa is standard with...

Don't be thrown by the mixed reviews--we had a blast at Hod Hamidbar! Traveled as a young couple from NYC in early January. The weather was beautiful, and Hod Hamidbar let us experience the Dead Sea without freezing our butts off! Besides a quick dip outside in the famous salty sea, we spent several hours dipping in the free sulfur...

I recommend this hotel , from many reasons. The first and the most important thing is location. You don't have to walk to far to the Dead Sea . It's right near you. Across the street you have both of the shopping centers . The food is very very good. 10 out of 10. Very nice stuff , positive and...

We been there on Dec. 2015. we got a reasonable room, no complains; however the dinner food was very low and big part of it looks like recycled from previous days. The breakfast was very poor, not even a piece of cake, dumplings and other dishes were dry / hard and sure not fresh. the marinated fish looks like with...
