The Coconut Inn is the perfect place when you have a lot to do and you are on the move. Breakfast is included and enjoyable. The rooms are cleaned daily. All in all, I will return when I will to go back to Aruba.
We stayed two weeks and can highly recoment this small and cosy B&B hotel. Simple but very good breakfast, which you can enjoy inside or outside. Almost next door you find Ling’s restaurang with fantastic spring rolls
The Coconut Inn was perfect for us! It was 15-20 min walk to Palm Beach area and completely safe. There are a number of restaurants and a delicious Aruban food truck near (subway parking lot). The maintenance man, housekeeping and Niurka were all lovely. Anytime we had questions they were quick to assist and provide ideas. The pool was clean and refreshing. The breakfast was the same everyday but good; pancakes, cornmeal patties, cereal, cold cut meats, eggs, toast, cheese, juice, coffee, tea and a few other items. There is an Asian restaurant across the street that has huge portions for an affordable price. The hotel room was clean, the ac was functional and it was equipped for a kitchenette (stove top, microwave, mini fridge and cookware). I would definitely stay here again. The room rates were around $80-90usd a night. Stay here and save your money and enjoy Aruba! They also booked us on two tours that were cheaper then going to the tour company directly. We had an amazing time at De Palm Island and the all day city tour. Once you get to palm beach are, there is a bus that goes to Arashi beach (north) and to Oranjestad (south) for a couple dollars usd. Enjoy!!!…
Niurka was so helpful during my stay at the Coconut Inn. Gave me excellent instructions as to how to get to the beach, the grocery store and more. She's the best! It's a bit of a walk to the beach and places to eat, and there's a small stretch where there is no sidewalk. The area felt safe. The staff was very friendly. Room was made up every day. I enjoyed the pool which was practically empty every day! My room had a kitchenette, and although I didn't cook, I did use the microwave, and the small fridge.
The Coconut Inn was a great destination to spend our honeymoon. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was great. It was in a destination where you can really get a local feel. Close to many restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. The only reason this place does not get a 5 star review in my book is because it was hard to check in at this hotel. The hours of operations were not always correct.
This hotel is in the lower price range and thus needs to be reviewed taken that into account. It's not very easy to find this price range on Aruba which still has an ok location. Rooms are spacious but very basic. Breakfast ok and the pool was nice and refreshing. A car is not actually necessary. it's about a 20 minutes walk to the beach.
I checked in 5 days ago. I told them I needed a quiet room for business. That never happened. It's sat at 10 30 p.m with kids screaming in the pool and loud music blasting right in front of my room. Why would they put me here? The room is dated. The bed is uncomfortable. The web sites all say they have bathtubs here with a pic. None have bathtubs. I tried sending 4 messages to the host about the unbelievable noise. Noone returned My messages. The price is very cheap. You get what you pay for. Concrete blocks near stairs all broken up. If you are desperate to go to aruba and you have very limited money....don't stay here. Just don't travel. Never again
Centrally located between Eagle Beach & Arashi Beach w/ a 5 min drive to high rise area restaurants, bars, sportsbars, shopping mall & hotels w/ casinos, Coconut Inn is an older 40 unit 1br/ studio complex w/ a clean pool, poolside shade, bbq grill, breakfast hall & plenty of of parking on site. My wife & I scoured the island for 2 long days searching for 2023 accom for a 2 mo stay. Coconut Inn was the most economical inc hot breakfast, taxes & fees. King bed in our 1 br unit was very comfortable; low, med, high hot water shower w/ rain head & soap, shampoo & conditioner included. House cleaning every day w/ fresh face, hand & shower towels; floors swept, bed made w/ weekly linen change for our 23 night stay. Beach towels were provided daily. Front desk is very receptive to requests … & met in a timely manner. Some units have been updated and others are in the process. An accom for all ages that we witnessed while there (guarantee bc of price, comfy & breakfast included). We recommend the Coconut Inn w/ enthusiasm especially for longterm stays where budget is an issue.…
The pictures of this place are inaccurate. I was shocked to see bars on the windows. The rooms are disgusting, especially if you are non-smoker. There is a gap in the door where you can see outside, which is not safe. You can open the doors with a screw driver. They still use old school keys, which probably have been duplicated several times. There is a guy that lives the back in a tent and there are roosters and chickens running in the parking lot. There is no light in the back when going to your room in the dark. Scary! It looks like a rehab facility with a pool. Stay elsewhere!!!
