Lovely hotel! It's just down the street from a beach with lifeguards. It's perfect if you just want to relax at the beach. Also, there is an outside shower in the back to clean off when coming back from the beach. In general: the staff were friendly and helpful. The public spaces were clean and new. Parking: they had two complimentary chargers available for EVs, but only one was working while we were there. But we were the only ones to use it so there wasn't a problem. There was a $15 fee for parking. Food: I'm a Diamond member and the $30 credit ($15/person) was applied automatically to our food charges. The breakfast was limited and the quality wasn't great, but the people were very nice. Room: the room was clean and nice. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed was comfortable. There a porch with chairs and a side table, perfect for relaxing or drying beach gear.…
We found this hotel after a horrible one night stay in Ocean City. Check in was extremely painless and we were blown away by the look and cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was over the top with courtesy, and extremely friendly. Our room was beautiful, and the view from our second floor balcony was even better (sunset view of the bay). Beds are comfortable and so were the pillows. The room came with a full size fridge with ice maker, and kitchen stocked with plates, glassware, and utensils. If you plan on staying a while, they even have a dishwasher. The bar serves GREAT crafted cocktails and even has small plates if your hungry. While we can attest to the quality of the drinks first hand, other guests assured us the food was just as good. We had one small issue that needed attention, as I was informing the front desk a staff member came out of the back after overhearing me and was extremely motivated to help. I can’t say enough about the attentiveness!! There are a few restaurants and shops within walking distance but not much. We were happy about this since it led to a 2 night stay filled with peace and quiet. With that being said, everything and anything is 5-10 min drive away. Oh, before I forget the beach is a 2min walk and they’re beautiful! We are already planning our next stay, and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you to everyone involved, y’all truly made our getaway carefree and relaxing!!…
We were looking to find a place that was close to the beach but not near the craziness of the Ocean City boardwalk. This hotel was awesome! Patti at the front desk answered all our questions and set us up with a beautiful room. The restaurant section of the hotel is good if you want a quick bite to eat before exploring the town. The women who worked there Monday to Thursday were very pleasant. We capped our visit with a bike ride through Fenwick Island before packing up and heading home. Ask for a room that looks out at both the ocean and bay.
We stayed 6 nights and had a great time. Everything was super clean. There was live music in the lobby every night. Two days of the week they had a mermaid swim in the pool Jimmy the bartender and James the server were great. The rooftop pool was great after the beach. Couldn't ask for more.
Had a great 2 night stay in Aug. everyone was very friendly. Room was clean. Kids loved the pool. Parents loved the live music in the lobby during happy hour and it’s a block from the beach and several restaurants. Would definitely recommend.
I love this hotel. The junior suite/room with the sectional sofa bed is perfect for a family with tweens. Great food, drinks, and quiet beach location yet close Enough for the best of Fenwick Island and the other Maryland beach entertainment spots. We will be back next year.
Having graduated from Ocean City some years ago I decided to spend a couple of days at Fenwick Island and being a Hilton Honors member thought I would give this hotel a shot. Very glad I did! For me it was perefect : great room, king bed, hot tunes, and quiet! I know there were kids there with families but I never heard them. Neat bar and bartendress, efficient and always available front desk assistance - covered parking, breakfast available if you want (not free), nice pool with bar…I could go on - oh I almost forgot -less than a block to a really quiet, uncrowded, clean beach in a very upscale neighborhood of beach front homes. Go there for a treat.
Travis might be the most innovative cocktail maker of all time. His ingredients are organic freshly squeezed and nothing artificial and will literally blow your mind! Ask for the chocolate espresso martini or his spin on the margarita - whatever you do, don’t ask for a frozen concoction, it’s blasphemous to ask for when you have this type of talent serving you!!!
We had a great three-night stay at this Fenwick Island hotel. Very friendly staff - special shout out to Dave P at the front desk for his hospitality. We had breakfast and lunch at the on-site restaurants and both were very good for a limited service hotel. . Love how quiet the beach is - much less crowded than Ocean City.
I am writing this review prematurely to our checkout, however I feel that it will not change. This little gem has been amazing!! The staff is fantastic, from the front desk to the chef they are all so amazing and friendly. The rooms are clean, it feels like a nice little home away from home. It’s so close to the beach but far enough away from OC. (I am not a fan of O.C.) Great job to the management and team here they really are making this a great place to stay. I can’t wait to come back!!
