Older hotel but it is super clean. The king bed was comfortable. Close and easy walk to the beach. Nice shops and restaurants close by. Front office staff were friendly and so were the cleaning staff. I don't have a dog but it was quiet for being pet friendly. I would get a room that wasn't in the back because the view is a backyard. Also be aware there are no elevators. If you want a clean comfortable room this place is nice. The beach is not crowded and it is close to Ocean City but much less crowded. Would definitely stay again.

I have been going for years. The owner takes great pride in the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel. There is a new improvement every year. Staff are always visible. 2 minute walk to the beach. The hotel itself is very quiet. I would recommend to anybody.

We enjoyed our stay here again. We have the handicapped room because my husband is in a wheelchair. It’s not easy finding one with a bed that’s not too high and an accessible bathroom. The staff is great to work with. We had a problem with our tv and he came right over and fixed it. The room Is pleasant and clean. Coffee all day long. A nice pool. Did I mention only a block from the beach?? And walking distance to several restaurants and shops. It’s less expensive than Bethany and only a short drive in if you want.

My wife and I live in the downtown Washington, DC area and it is not the city we moved to a few years back. After the riots, looting, arson and random physical attacks on people all on top of COVID, we needed a break. We had stayed at the Seaside Inn before, but this trip was great. Some of the details made this hotel a special place due to COVID. The beach is very close and private, the hotel is clean, no elevators, open air walkways to the rooms, the rooms have new MHI individual air conditioners, each room a balcony and for those that travel alot will think you are in a Marriott Rewards room. Its family owned and operated so they take alot of pride in their work and property. It's basic, no fancy lobby or in-house shops just a great clean place to stay and get away!

We really enjoyed our stay this past weekend. Friendly staff, reasonable price, very clean rooms, convenient location to the beach, restaurants, and local shops. The pool is an outdoor pool, and it’s in the middle of the hotel - which helps block out wind. They have lounge chairs and pretty potted flowers around the pool which gives you the feeling of your own private oasis.

I really want to give a 5 star review to this hotel but have to mention a few issues... the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel!! It was soo hard as were the pillows! The room was very clean upon arrival and smelled clean. The furniture had nicks and marks on it. The tv did not work and we told the office and they fixed it but when we came back after dinner it wasn’t working again. But I have to say the staff was very nice and helpful! The coffee in the lobby was kept fresh all day and was delicious!! This is a typical “beach” hotel and seemed great for families!!

My 3rd time visiting the Delaware Beaches. We settled on Fenwick Island this year, and I read the reviews about the Seaside Inn and decided to give it a shot. Classic old school motel. You know what I mean. The ones with the No Vacancy sign in the parking lot , and you have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to your hotel room. As for the hotel, they have an outdoor pool in the courtyard, rooms are clean, with refrigerator, microwave. Laminate floors which feel cleaner in my opinion. There’s a resteraunt, country store, and liquor store across street. More importantly, the beach is one block down and if your wondering, this section of the beach is patrolled by lifeguards. An excellent and more affordable alternative to Ocean City, which is only a 15 minute drive.

I wanted a place to stay at the Ocean for a few days for my family. So I searched Trip advisor and saw Great Reviews for The Seaside Inn..I usally rent condos or a house but since the Corona I really didnt know what to expect down there..Let me tell you this place was Super Clean and the staff was the best..the beach is only a stone throw away..The Seaside Inn is very family oriented and Key card gets you into the hotel after hours and also you feel very safe lots of security cameras..This area is very laid back. I highly recommend Seaside Inn

Large, clean, handicapped accessible rooms. We were so pleased with our stay in this hotel. The owner is friendly and accommodating. My husband is a paraplegic so we needed a room large enough for him to move around. We 2 had queens in our room, which was on the first floor. Our room was a good size, clean and neat. TV worked. Small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Coffee available all day in the office. Deck off our room. During COVID, daily housekeeping services like bed-making were suspended, which we didn't mind. There's a pool in the center which guests were enjoying. Shopping and restaurants across the street. It's close to Bethany but less expensive than staying in Bethany Beach! It covered all of our basic needs - clean, comfortable, affordable. I recommend the Seaside Inn.
