This is a place to go, it is a must. Let's enjoy at least one night and one dinner, this hotel is really good and employees are really dedicated to customer satisfaction. We are not talking anymore about price/quality rating... Here is another world :-)

My wife and I had a weekend at Hotel Villa Hammerschmiede while visiting Karlsruhe, which is 15-20 minutes drive. The large well wooded grounds are superb, rooms are large and well appointed, excellent restaurant (and breakfast) and the hotel is dog-friendly. The only downside is the requirement of having to login to WiFi with a separate code for each device,... More

We stopped for a brief visit - brief is the only downside to our visit. It began with the staff who were most helpful and professional on a train transfer issue. The room was very well appointed and airy . We had dinner outside on a delightful spring evening the local wine pairings were excellent- as the sun went down... More

A superb hotel in a classical German setting, tucked away in a nice valley. Our room was spacious with high quality bath linen. The "Felsenbad" offers a good swim, steam bath and Jacuzzi. The restaurant is of great quality and the staff is excellent. Breakfast is a real treat with a generous buffet. If you are in the neighbourhood don't... More

True luxury, everything we could have wished for in a hotel. The beautiful fresh floral arrangements first greet you, then, they are everywhere in the public areas. Our room was very comfortable and of a spacious size. The bathroom was large and one of the best iv'e seen or used. Luxury again. Location, is a bit out of the way.... More

Beautiful, friendly, relaxing - overall a great experience. Traveling with family and friends - wonderful breakfast and dinner. Very upscale but no air conditioning- we were there in August and didn't need it anyway. My 12 year old loved the pool. Has steam and sauna and spa treatments for those inclined. Reminded me of the villas in Italy. Wonderful spot.

As I have always found from a Relais and Chateaux hotel the service and the quality of the facilities of the hotel were excellent. We had beautiful room, and we enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant.
