I recently rented a 2 bedroom cottage for my elderly father and myself at Bay-Lee-Mac. This was the 4th time I had been there since 1994 and once again I was not disappointed. We were the only ones there so it was extremely quiet and serene. The cottage itself, as well as the grounds were well maintained and I loved... More

The owner was angry the entire time I was there. One of our group asked to borrow a life jacket. He was told that if the life jacket touched the ground we would lose the boat/kayak privledge. Everyone in our party had a story of the rude/angry attitude that was the owner.

I will definitely go back. We meet the other people that rented the cottages and we had a great time and great laughs. Very quiet and very nice sandy beach. All cottages have running water and propane lamps. The dogwood I believe is the only cottage with no running water but water is available a few hundred feet. If you... More

Exceptional is the best description of the views, cabins and the people that run the Camp. The cabins and grounds are very clean and well organized. If you are in need of anything just ask and you will receive. Each cabin is furnished with a BBQ, propane fridge, stove and lanterns. There is no hydro but that is no big... More

We have returned each year for the last 5 years. Fishing is good if you know the spots. Hosts are friendly and the grounds & view are second to none. It is a true northern experience and I have travelled north for the last 30 years from southern Ontario. It is very peaceful.

Hi all just back from the camp and it was a great experience from when we checked in to the time we left. On arrival, Rodger put my boat in the water and as soon as we unpacked, we were out on the lake! My son and I spent an afternoon with Rodger on Cliff Lake which was an experience... More

Was just there for five days. Will not go back. We did not know there was NO HYDRO. I found the gas lights were hot and difficult to see in. No lights in bed rooms. And the fishing sucked !!! No boat ramp available.

For being a city girl, I was not sure what to expect for my first experience in a cabin... I was asked to help out a friend with Wedding plans and was told we were staying in a cabin that was only run with propane... Once there the owners/hosts were wonderful, very accomodating, personable, and made me feel right at... More

My girlfriend and I have stayed at Bayleemac on several occasions. Roger and Krystal always provide a great, clean cabin to stay in and the location is great and the rates are reasonable. The cabins are rustic, clean and comfortable and are equipped with cookware, extra blankets and a bbq, which is handy. There is no electricity in the cabins... More
