We couldnt fault the pizzas. This chef mixes cheeses and tasty ingredients to create original fare. The drinks service at the bar was efficient. As flies are a problem in Western Australia, it was positive to see a the table cleaner meticulously cleaning every table.

Have been a regular Rottnest Island visitor for the last 33 years. A very special place. However, for the last 10 or so years the Hotel Rottnest has excelled at disappointing and frustrating with service levels. Expect to wait for at least 20 minutes to get a beer if at all. If you do get served order two for each...

I am not sure what grading system was used to give this hotel its rating. Anywhere else in the world, and that includes major cities, the prices charged here would give you far more. Reception is a small unimpressive room obviously used for other functions as well. VERY basic room. Bed certainly too small for 2 averaged sized adults. Bathroom...

Stayed very recently for 2 nights, very close to the jetty and easy transport of luggage. On arrival we were given a room early, was really disappointed with it :/ was a tiny corner room which meant you walked in to a hallway where the desk/dressing table (with fridge) was. Bed was through an open doorway with no room to...

Stayed here for 2 nights recently. Smallish bed but quite comfortable. Bathroom fairly basic and shower curtain was about 200mm too short and a lot of the water ended up on the floor which was quite uncomfortable. Rust in doorframe and generally fairly tired and need of a makeover. Bathroom accessories ie. shampoo, soap etc were good but bath towels...

Great 2 night stay at Hotel Rottnest - view from room was a brick wall - but the room was spotless, staff exceptional and we ate (and drank) in the bar both nights we were there - food was excellent and not too pricey !!

A group of us tried dinner at the pub. The children's menu is very limited. I ordered the slow cooked lamb shoulder and unfortunately it wasn't very nice- overcooked and the rest of the food looked like it had been in the plate for some time. Our friend tried the octopus salad and it wasn't the best either. Rest of...

Staying on Rottnest Island at another venue and decided to stop by here for lunch. The hotel itself does have a lovely outlook over Thomson Bay with plenty of seating options but the menu is very limited. I asked the staff if the menu changed for dinner but unfortunately no. If you are into wine/beer etc it has an extensive...
