Yes the drinks are expensive, so is everything in WA, however I think it's worth the extra for the view. My glass of wine was beautifully chilled and you can't beat the crispy chips doused in rosemary salt. The wait staff were friendly and literally ran to keep the pesky seagulls away.

We sat in our usual spot in the beer garden, the only people there. After getting our drinks a very unsavoury young lady came and asked us to move? I said we would if we could move towards the southern end. We then we're told about her horrendous day yesterday so I declined her offer to move. A guy came...

We had such a wonderful time on Rottnest island . It is such a beautiful and magical place . The hotel is in a great location walking distance to the wharf and main settlement . The reception were friendly and helpful . The rooms are standard and the bed was comfy . There is a little courtyard with tables and...

Situated in the main settlement for us this hotel / accomdation was the only place. With a sea view and a small patio area this accomdation was exactly what we wanted. Downside very expensive for what it is the room was clean and tidy the downside was no hot water for showering

The food and atmosphere is absolutely awesome! However I have been to the pub more than once and am extremely disappointed with the service quality! The fact that each time I am presented with poor service is actually appalling! I understand that at the bar and in the kitchen times can get stressful and rushed however for the bar staff...

Want a good time on Rottnest? Then don't stay here! Seriously it will leave a sour taste in your mouth. There's no value for money here as the rooms are way overpriced. The reception staff are also useless. There is no other was to describe them so I'm just being honest. And if you do stay here, whatever you do,...

Very nice location.Great outlook etc but seriously $14 (AUD) for a pint of beer? $7 for soft drink??? $28 for fish and chips??? I am really over WA pricing everything way over the top. The service is not the best either.

We paid $330 a night, so at $660 for 2 nights, we expected more, much much more. The television bracket hung empty on the wall, with the tv placed awkwardly on the bench. The window looked onto a dirt patch that was perhaps a behind the scenes area and the room had limited natural light. The beach view was non-existent...

We initially attempted to stay in an ocean view room but were all booked. We looked over other accommodation but settled on a courtyard room at Hotel Rottnest for its air conditioning and reviews advising it is quiet. In hindsight we are glad we didn't get the ocean view room as the hotel can get quite rowdy (albeit until 11pm...

Seven of us had lunch here recently, the location is fantastic. The food is pricey but there is not much choice on Rottnest in terms of eateries. It is bar service so you have to line up to place your order and the place can be quite busy so, ensure that you place your order early as it can take...
