Reviewed yesterday NEW

The hotel in general appears a little run down but we were in the new section which was pleasant enough [glad we weren't in the old section] The only problem with our room as was previously mentioned was the noise on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. We ate at the Governor's Bar and the meals there were excellent as was...

You have to appreciate the history of the place. This is old but in transition - the balance between old charm and new mod cons with all the bells and whistles is obviously difficult on this little island and Karma still have some way to go. Having said that, the place does have it's charms (and a peacock) and the...

Karma Rottnest is at best a 2 star hotel. The rooms we had appeared not to have been touched since 1980. They were tasteless, dirty, smelly and generally in poor condition. The worst part of our 2 night, Friday and Saturday stay was being kept awake by the band playing at the bar till 12am each night. We'd be prepared...

We have stayed in other Karma resorts in Bali and Koh Samui, however this is not one we will fondly remember. The Rottmest Lodge was a total disappointment from the minute we arrived. We were offered a family room which was completely disgusting., old, run down, now windows, a/c - not even bedside tables ! After immediately complaining we were...

Hi Brian, We are disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy your recent stay. Karma Rottnest is a three star property and is of course different to the 4 and 5 Star resorts which form part of the Karma group in other countries around the world. The majority of the property is heritage listed such as the Quod and...

We stayed at the Karma Resort (Rottnest Island) as part of an advertised package. As a result of management overlooking booking our ferry tickets we were upgraded to Lakeside & very grateful for that. Our first impressions were that EVERYWHERE on the island requires maintenance & it is obviously a case of unavailable funds, but could I suggest if paying...

We were booked to stay in the nicest level of room, a Lakeside room today. The check in process was fine and the front staff was friendly. Be aware that when you leave bags there really is no security. All patrons drop bags in the same room and people come and go from this room. We however, did not have...

We stayed for two nights, we were in the Quad zone. The room was not very clean, hair from previous guests was all over the floor. The shower had mould stains and the floor was dirty. Water shortage for half a day, no one could have a shower. Not the ideal way to start your day. Some noises in the...

We stayed at Karma resort lodge for 2 nights in a twin room. I was worried after reading bad reviews on TripAdvisor as we had booked a standard room and didn't expect much. I must say the room was basic and a little tired but far better than expected. The bathroom was good and shower fine with ok water pressure....
