We really enjoyed our stay last week. Peter and Rhonda could not have been nicer and friendlier. The accommodation has its own entrance and is quite separate from the rest of the house. The Hawley's are extremely warm, welcoming and friendly and provided great suggestions. Our accomodation was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was good and Rhonda baked a lovely cake...

Absolutely a wonderful experience, we cannot fault anything, the room was spacious with an outside balcony, bed was very comfortable, bathroom faultless and our hosts, Peter and Rhonda were delightful nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend this B&B to anyone (already have) and we will return to this area as it is a beautiful area of NZ.

The first place we stayed on our first-ever visit to New Zealand was with Peter and Rhonda at Hawleys B & B. This was the perfect start to our trip! Even before arriving at their home, Peter was very responsive to my emails and sent me wonderful information regarding tours I might want to book and places I might want...

Full disclosure I did not stay at this B&B however when planning my honeymoon back in March I emailed Peter requesting to stay for two days. He confirmed and we were very excited as Cathedral Cove looks beautiful and all the reviews we read have been great. You can imagine my disappointment when I emailed Peter the other day just...

We enjoyyed our two days stay in the house of Peter & Rhonda who are perfect hosts, providing any information required and even a lift to the top of the hill to take a walk to the famous Cathedral Cove and back by boat to Hahel. If you want to visit the Hot Water Beach to dig a thermal hot...

Hahei is a small settlement in an idyllic setting - houses amongst the tree covered hillside and a short stroll to a glorious sandy beach at the end of the quiet main road. It’s a short drive to Hot Water Beach and a good walk to Cathedral Cove. On arrival at the guesthouse we were welcomed by hosts Peter and...

We stayed in Hahei at the end of our tour of NZ to relax and unwind before flying home. We chose Hawley's B&B because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. Peter and Rhonda were brilliant hosts, very welcoming we even had cake and tea when we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. We even borrowed spades...

We arrived a bit late in Hahei, due to some detour we took to visit Waitomo on the way coming, which we really enjoyed as well. But unfortunately this did cut down our time in Hahei. But Peter and Rhonda were really great hosts for us, the gave us some tips and directions of when to go where so we...

We stayed in this beautiful B&B on our belated honeymoon with a 10 months old baby. All we can do is praise the wonderful setting, close to the beach, the tidy and really clean rooms and the extremely friendy service. Peter and Rhonda are adorable, the perfect hosts and immediately make you feel at home. We loved the home-made breakfast...

Peter and Rhonda are amazing hosts! Lovely home! As this was our first B&B experience, we liked how the guest area of the home was more isolated from the portion of the home that they live in. While our itinerary only allowed for one night in Hahei, their convienantly located home allowed for plenty of time to explore Hahei Beach...
