The Thayer Hotel at West Point consists of 151 luxurious guest rooms with 23 recently renovated executive suites and 10 elegant venues for meetings, weddings and special events. The Thayer Hotel offers a perfect home base for amazing group itineraries in the historic Hudson River Valley with a plethora of nearby attractions, cultural institutions, historical landmarks and award-winning dining options at MacArthur's Riverview Restaurant, General Patton's Tavern, and Zulu Time Rooftop Bar and Lounge. In an effort to support local restaurants through the winter season the property has modified the Hotel Food & Beverage operations. Zulu Time Rooftop Bar & Lounge, MacArthur’s Riverview Restaurant and Patton’s Tavern will be limited to private events until Spring 2021 with the exception of some special events, including the award winning Thanksgiving Dinner, Holiday High Tea, Holiday Brunch with Santa, and New Year’s Eve Gala. Went for lunch while touring West Point. Of course; the two go together. Delicious food and a wonderful selection on the buffet. Staff was a little disorganized and unwelcoming because we were seated at 3 different tables before eating. But the buffet was self served so who cared.

Birthday celebration brunch, was very nice and scenic. Sometimes Open Table reservations will say they cannot accomodate so always call the restaurant direct to see if spots available. Nice brunch, good service

We had an exceptional stay at The Thayer. The service is truly exceptional and accommodating. The food and service is very good. Even the bell hops and parking staff had large smiles on their face. I met very interesting people in the lobby. Highly recommend.

The food at the breakfast place was fantastic. Very friendly staff, the whole area was gorgeous, inside and out… and the television stations!! Two of my favorite movies ever were on, without commercials! 10/10 would go again if we get the chance!

Excellent accommodations and food / service. Restaurants and Zulu rooftop bar were very accommodating. Servers were polite and food and drinks were perfect. Not first visit at The Thayer and will definitely come again. Room and views spectacular.

My husband and i Loved the Thayer hotel. It is beautiful, spacious & staff were very friendly. Just wish it was a bit more cost efficient so we could visit more often. I will visit again in the future when possible.

Friendly staff, beautiful room but on the expensive side. Patton bar nice for lunch and prices were reasonable. Can't beat the the location of this hotel if visiting West Point. I love the view of the Hudson river and the tree covered hills.
