West Point is as old as our country and the Thayer Hotel has captured that history thru its unique room dedication program. Each room is dedicated to a significant West Point graduate who has played a role in leading our country. You can walk the halls and read about what each graduate has done. The rooms are all decorated differently...

Thank you for choosing to stay at The Historic Thayer Hotel at West Point, and for sharing your enthusiasm about our hotel on TripAdvisor. It’s true, The Thayer Hotel is much more than just place for luxury accommodations. It’s a part of America’s history, and a museum with a vast amount of memorabilia aligning the walls and in guestrooms. Through...

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon for brunch and checked in around 3:30pm. The staff was very friendly and the room was wonderful! We requested a view of the Hudson and it was fantastic! The place was mostly empty because it was a Sunday, but we were able to walk freely and appreciate the historic location. I LOVED the guest...

The Thayer is a unique, historic hotel with fabulous Hudson River views. Of course, the main draw is West Point. We checked into this beautiful hotel with Stephanie at the front desk. She was so personable and accommodating. We arrived early so we had breakfast in MacArthur's. The food and service were excellent. Shopping at nearby Woodbury Commons Outlets is...

I wound up staying here out of pure dumb luck. I received a deal offer from a travel site and happened to be planing an overnight in the area so I booked it thinking "it's only one night". I've noticed in the past that most of the travel site hotel deals have a hidden catch like your room will be...

Our hotel was built in 1926, and is located on the same grounds as the United States Military Academy. The Thayer hotel on West Point is a nice hotel with friendly staff. It is a historic building with character and history. Though an older building, it still offered modern amenities. However, there are three complaints I have about the hotel. First is the small room size. This can be overlooked, though, as it is due to the buildings older...

My family has stayed at The Thayer many times in recent years. It is our "go to" hotel and feels like home away from home. My West Point experiences would not be the same without the convenience of the hotel being on post. We are able to spend valuable time with our son, and when a cadet is a plebe,...

The hotel is nice, and clean. I had the Bridal suite, but I wouldn't call it a suite, it simply had a sofa and chair in it, and was a fairly small room. Approximately 300 square feet, I believe. Thank you for taking the time to share your frustration with West Point's shuttle service.
