This is our 4th time staying at the Inn and has become our annual October trip. Stayed for a full week this time. As usual, the Inn did not disappoint. Alexandra and Anthony were such wonderful and gracious hosts yet again! And the breakfasts are fabulous and home made! The Inn has such great character...we can't wait to get back....

We stayed two nights over Labor Day weekend. The room was clean and comfortable and the owner gave us a personal tour upon check in. We had a view of Lake Champlain and the sunrise is spectacular. The owners were happy to suggest where to go to dinner and were helpful with directions to places when asked. Thanks for a...

Situated right across the street from Lake Champlain, the location was very central in a extremely quiet town. The hospitality when we arrived was great. The common rooms (breakfast restaurant, library and lounge) were also very nice. However, our stay in room 102 - Dante (had it's own access door outside and right on the street) just really felt like...

I'm doing inspections in the area and took the opportunity to book at this wonderful place. It features a wide collection of great books and collectible literature in their bookshop. The literary theme is carried throughout the Inn with every room featuring a famous author. Quite affordable too. My wife was able to join me and we found a nice...

Stayed for one night while driving upstate. Really enjoyed staying here for the night. The owners went out of their way to make us comfortable. Lovely room with a small sitting area and large bath. If you love used book stores like I do this is the place. A well stocked book store is located in the inn. I enjoyed...

After a punishing drive, we stopped for a night at The Inn in Westport. It was immaculate and the bookstore was fascinating. I was stunned at the array of books for sale and loved their selection of Austrian economics. The town is pretty but a bit sad with so many homes for sale. We recommend the inn, reasonably priced, without...

We were very satisfied with our short stay at this inn. Clean, friendly, quiet and located in the small downtown. Café/restaurant in the inn was handy for breakfast. We were only there for a couple of nights but it was comfortable and suited our needs. Stayed in the Ayn Rand room which was quiet and comfortable.

The Inn has been lovingly restored and modernized without taking taking away its antiquity. The owners meet us themselves. They have a bookstore in the lobby that we got to use as a library while we were there. The Inn is right on main street in the middle of this quiet Lake Champlain community. It just a short walk to...

In town for Independence Day weekend. We had a nice room the looked out on the park and Lake Champlain. The people are very nice and make you feel welcome and at home. It not a modern hotel but that is much of the quaintness and charm. If you want to stay right in Westport this is a good choice....
