We stayed here during a bike trip along the Champlain coast. Alexandra was super friendly and helpful, and the Inn was very nice. Our room was on the front of the Inn looking out over Ballard Park and the Lake. It was all beautiful. They also had a shed to house our bikes during the night, and some hints for...

I stayed for a weekend with my daughter - our room :(#10) was nicely appointed, clean and had everything we needed. On checkin, Alexandra was extremely helpful and had been accommodating when we were originally expected to arrive later in the evening. Breakfast selection is nice and there is obviously pride of ownership. The proximity to the marina was super...

We enjoyed our discovery of The Inn in Westport last weekend... a very civilized enclave on the shores of Lake Champlain. We stayed in the small room at the back, the Edgar Allen Poe room, and it was fine for our needs: a comfortable bed with adirondack style quilt, a clean bathroom with a nice showerhead, a small flat screen...

My fiance and I just got back from a long weekend to Lake Champlain and I could not have been happier with the Inn at Westport. I booked several months ago as this weekend was our anniversary and I intended on asking my GF to marry me. Alexandra, the innkeeper, went out of her way to help in any way...

This inn is a rare find! It is the kind of inn where an individual guest's every need has been anticipated and planned for. Alexandra, the innkeeper, is a wonderful and kind person. She runs this inn as her own home and the guests are treated like family. There is a pleasant Lake Champlain beach right across the street in...

This hotel was excellent. The town of Westport is beautiful the hotel is equally beautiful. The room we stayed in, the Emily Dickinson was large and had maybe the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was truly nice to speak to her. Breakfast options were great. I wish we stayed longer.

We were warmly welcomed by Innkeeper Alexandra who gave us a tour of the inn and all of the amenities. There is a comfortable room with a large window that looks out on Lake Champlain. The room has comfortable seating, along with all of the essentials to enjoy a relaxing evening. There are wine glasses, cork screws, napkins, ice and...

Can't say enough good things about the way we were treated here....the innkeeper tried to take care of our every need. She made late-afternoon coffee for my husband's caffeine fix & brought us plates for our takeout pizza. The town is small but pretty; we loved the charm. On the Thursday night we were at the inn, there was a...

Our family enjoyed two nights at the Inn in Westport in July, and we were thrilled with the experience from start to finish. The owner was delightful- warm, professional, and helpful. Our room was immaculately clean, super cozy, and beautifully decorated. I first stayed at this Inn in the early 1990's, and other than in terms of its historic beauty,...

This was a really fun place to stay. The Inn is comprised of three old buildings situated almost on the shore of Lake Champlain. Tastefully decorated and immaculate, the rooms are a little on the small side. The downstairs common area holds the owner's collection of over 8,000 books. Feel free to peruse the shelves and purchase something for your...
