My boyfriend and I stayed at KOA Lake Placid for a few nights while we were exploring Lake Placid and hiking Whiteface Mountain. My boyfriend is an experienced camper...and I hate camping. To put it simply, this place may change my idea about camping. We had made a reservation ahead of time and we were welcomed by fantastic staff that...

Excellent Camp ground with lots to do. Kids loved the daily tractor ride, Play ground area and snack bar! Beautiful camp store with lots of food and fun items. Offers daily breakfast at reasonable prices. Nice sites as well.

We wanted a white Christmas and found this the only place we could camp in our RV. Beauty with the snow. However, rude reservations person who told us we could not have water in our camper because of the temperature. He was demeaning and quite nasty on the phone telling us we HAD to use their bath house and toilets....

This region is beautiful. It is convenient to everything you might want to do in the area. Checking out the Olympic ski jump and bobsled is lots of fun. The campground is not fancy, and to be honest I do not think it has cable. We were so many places, I'm not sure. We don't use campground bathrooms, but from...

This is the best campground! A very real feel - not a parking lot made to feel like a camping experience. Perfect balance of location an amenities. Hiking trails at the foot of the campground. Nearby the beautiful town beach. Pet friendly. Staff was exceptional. An exceptional experience!!!! Five stars.

Lake placid, one of the perfect vacation destination for a family or friendly reunion with variety of indoor and outdoor activities. We rented a cottage resided at a quiet and secular road in a few minutes walking to the town center. Walking along the bank of lake mirror or take a boat tour on Lake placid....to experience the unforgettable charm...

We attended in early September with our baby for his first camping trip. We rented a KOA Cabin. It was in a quiet end of the campground. We decided to stay here because of the proximity to Whiteface Mountain and our plans to hike. The cabin was clean, the bed was not overly comfortable but you have to consider that...

Stayed in a cabin which was very clean and cozy. Had everything one could want including a spacious porch furnished with a weber grill. It was quiet, neat, and well lit. Loads of things to do there and the staff was great. We cant wait to go back. Well worth the money over staying in a hotel.
