Detailed Reviews
My wife and I enjoyed a 2 night mid-week stay at this lovely victorian in the heart of the Catskills. We had the second floor king room with plenty of room a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Lots of windows and plenty of light made this a very comfortable retreat. Breakfast was served on the front porch under a pretty gazebo roof. We had our choice of foods and drink and wonderful conversation with our host. We were able to discover much local color and history in these talks. The only issue that surprised us is that the three upstairs rooms all share one bathroom. Otherwise our short stay was all we could ask for.

We were looking for an affordable place to stay for a family gathering near Hunter Mountain. Didnt want to spend that much as much of the day would be spent away from our lodging. Antique Rose fit the bill perfectly. The Inn was cozy, the rooms well decorated and the bed was very comfy with an assortment of pillows! Not to mentions Laureen's delicious breakfast! Would definitely stay here again. So lucky to come across this gem!

My wife and I were traveling to Maine and stayed one night at antique rose. The room was wonderful and the host was fantastic. We really enjoyed the stay, the breakfast was great and the conversation was interesting. We highly recommend staying for a night or for the week. Wonderful experience.

Cute little bnb right in town. Good location and room for the price. I really enjoyed the pancakes and eggs for breakfast. I always forget to check when booking the smaller places but its a shared bathroom (which was very clean) for the 3 rooms.

My son and I decided on staying at the Antique Rose the night before mountain biking Windham mountain. Laureen was always welcoming and a pleasure to stay with. Breakfast was perfect on our way out the next day. The bedroom was very neat and comfortable. The bathroom although shared, really wasn't a big deal with only 3 rooms upstairs.
Wish I had more time to relax on the porch but next time for sure!
Great place and so close to the mountain!
Thx again,
Darren and Kyle

I would like to share a rare find with anyone wishing have a most pleasurable experience on their next vacation. I recently took a journey back to where I once called home up in the Catskill Mountains in Greene County NY. Unlike most of my trips where I find myself waking each day to the cold and unfriendly hotel room I thought was a bargain, this time I decided to try something different. I have always wondered what it was like to stay in a B&B and I must admit my curiosity got the best of me this trip. I must admit I was quite nervous at first not knowing what to expect, after all I was staying in someone s home after all. And what a beautiful place it was! It turned out to be an old Victorian house built in the late 1800's with a Stunning view of the mountains I once called home. The owner of the house greeted me at the door and gave me a tour of the house complete with a detailed history of this beautiful old house. I soon settled in and was treated like a member of the family. I still spend many of my business trips in those cold lonely hotels; I must admit many of them are nice and posh........... But when I go away for the pleasure of it, I will never again spend my nights anywhere else but within the warm cozy walls of a B&B. Thanks to the Antique Rose Inn in Windham NY.

We had such a welcoming experience at this B & B!!!! The Antique Rose is an 1800 Victorian House with all the charms of home in the heart of the majestic Catskill Mountains. Bathroom and rooms are clean, simple and cozy. A delicious country breakfast is served to your liking with farm fresh eggs, fresh OJ and other luscious choices from the grill. Lauren is a welcoming, charming and warm hostess. She is accommodating, helpful and friendly. She really is a part of the homey comfort you get at The Antique Rose. We will return!..... Also a great value!

We decided to hit the Catskills for a last minute trip in early July, and wanted a B&B rather than a hotel or motel. ALL the B&B's in the Catskill area were booked, until I found this one in Wyndham. It is not a great jumping off point for Woodstock/Kingston type day trips, but it was close enough to make it a good place to end the evening.
The proprietor is very nice and friendly, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was tasty. I recommend this place to anyone skiing in the Winter or who would like a remote B&B while hiking or doing other activities in the northern Catskills. Oh, and rates are VERY reasonable!
(One Con: we visited during a 90+ degree heatwave, and the room was very hot. She does have a window AC unit but it could not do much against the extreme heat.)

This lovingly tended Queen Anne Victorian home is a must-see for anyone who loves period woodwork and stained glass. I was blown away by my hostess's enthusiasm and passion for her home, and delighted to spend a night there. The shared bathroom was no problem, especially since my room had its own sink. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the blueberry pancakes, and was tailored to both my tastes and my wake-up time. Breakfast on the sunny porch was relaxing and pleasant.

We recently stayed at this B&B for a couple of nights, and liked our experience overall. The host was very friendly, and she gave us plenty of advice about the area and places to eat. The rooms and the rest of the house are very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. WiFi worked great, but keep in mind that you may not have cell phone signal at the house or in the general area. WiFi calling (if your phone is capable of it) helped to get around that. The bathroom is shared (which is properly disclosed in the description), and although 2 of the 3 rooms have sinks inside the room, bear in mind that you may need to wait for the bathroom/shower for a while, since there could be 6-7 people staying at the house.
The free breakfast consisted of eggs, tea or coffee, orange juice, and pancakes or French toast.
