B&B was wonderful! Lovely setup with fireplaces and cozy chairs. Lots of dinner options next door for dinner. Kind and thoughtful hosts. Plenty of outdoor activities in the area. Will definitely go back!
Lovely b&b with great hospitality and lots of rooms to cozy up by the fire and read a good book. Location was walkable to dining and centrally located for other activities like hiking and skiing. Wish we could have stayed longer and definitely going back!
We had an amazing stay at the Azalea Inn B&B. The staff was super nice, the room was great, and the breakfast was delicious. Connie was an amazing host for our stay. We were originally supposed to stay in the Azalea room, but moved to the White Crow suite to have some extra space. I was able to see the Azalea room and took some pictures of it for reference. The white crow suite is upstairs in the main house and is a large room with a big bathroom and massive walk in closet. There is a small table and 2 chairs in the room and that was very nice for us to have a place to work for one of the days during our stay. The fireplace was also really nice to have as well. The breakfast each morning was very good and I enjoyed being able to easily walk downstairs for some coffee/tea in the mornings. There is a refrigerator in the room and that was nice for us to be able to have morning mimosas. Out back there is a seating area and a small fire pit. It was nice to sit out there when the weather was warm enough during the day. The location of the B&B can't be beat. Everything in Banner Elk is within walking distance of the B&B. It was also nice that they give you a coupon for a free glass or flight of wine at the Banner Elk Winery. I would definitely stay here again if I were visiting the area.…
This is a quaint little B&B with modern day amenities and exceptional attention to detail! We typically aren’t B&B people (we don’t like to eat breakfast with a table full of people that we don’t know) however, you can spread out in a few different rooms while having your coffee and breakfast, which we appreciated. Beautiful plates and silverware and array of coffee cups, glasses and wine glasses can be found. It is decorated beautifully, the linens and towels are luxurious and the cleanliness is superb (something I really pay attention to). The staff is so kind, friendly and accommodating. You are within walking distance of downtown Banner Elk which is fantastic. *We highly recommend this place.
My family loved our stay in the cottage. They staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast every morning was delicious. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.
The inn is lovely and well located for walking distance to food and stores. Breakfast was filling and good. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Loved the pillows. I slept very well. It is a little pricey.
Wow!!! I have traveled all over the world and had an amazing experience at the Azalea Inn. Came to town for a wedding and took the entire family, kids and all! The guest rooms are appointed, fairly large, air conditioned, are clean, and charming. The owner is accommodating, talented, and beautiful. Terry’s hospitality made me feel like a king and I look forward to staying again.
My family and loved staying at the Azalea. There can't be a better spot to base out of for fun in Banner Elk. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is great, and the location can't be beat. Plenty of parking too. Many thanks to Teri and the staff for their hospitality.
Road warrior and wife with many B&B experiences. Observations: Property poorly maintained. Examples: missing hot water handle cover in shower (bolt only); loose door handle to room, refrigerator ice and water dispenser not working, landscaping not kept up w/ many weeds, bare light fixtures in ceiling. Lack of attention to detail/service. Examples: No greeting upon arrival at 5:00 PM, only folder paper with name and room assignment on desk. No ice and water for guests (empty Brita water container that you go to kitchen and refill (no ice). Tables in eating area not level. Breakfast (buffet style) only served from 0900-0930. Want to leave early or snooze, you loose. Window treatments above bed with curved window not covered (lets light in all night).
Our stay at the Azalea Inn was splendid! The Inn is very charming and rustic and overall has a welcoming feeling. Unfortunately, my friend and I were on a tight schedule so we had to miss out on breakfast during our stay. The innkeeper was very polite and pleasant and ready to be of help. Highly recommend!
