My husband and I stayed at the Arbor House for 4 nights over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We had a very spacious room on the second floor with a large bathroom and walk in shower. The Inn was immaculate and the breakfasts delicious! My favorite was the blueberry French toast. It was to die for!! Theresa and Jim are very gracious... More

Upstairs room, spacious but cozy, well appointed bathroom. Steps from Lake Tomahawk and its walking path, easy walking distance from downtown Black Mountain and all the restaurants and local ale houses. The view of the mountains from the deck is breathtaking. Owner operators are friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating.

Loved your heading! The view of the Pisgah Forest and Blue Ridge and the lake is very different than other B&B's in the area. Just a short walk around the lake to see the Seven Sisters and Swannanoa Mountains. Our location says it all. We are glad you liked our homemade breakfasts as we try to use local products, when... My husband and I visited in September. The Arbor House is beautiful, with a walking path around the lake, beautiful gardens on the grounds, and very welcoming innkeepers. Large room and attached large bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. A great place to stay and explore Black Mountain, or the surrounding area.

Our visit to Arbor House began when we were greeted by the Innkeeper, Theresa, and told to treat her home as our home which we did. From the generously sized bedroom to the welcoming and well appointed common areas, the small boutique B&B (only four bedrooms) met or exceeded our every need. Days began with a walk around Lake Tomahawk... More

I came to Black Mountain for some continuing education at a nearby conference center, but wanted to stay in town. This B&B is impeccably kept and the innkeeper makes some of the best breakfast food I've seen in many years. They are very welcoming and happy to help make your stay as wonderful as they can. Also, the bed was... More
