This was our second stay at the Apple Blossom. Our king-bed room had new carpet, three new windows that fully open, and I understand the next project is to replace mattresses. At $60-$65 a night, the owners must choose carefully which items to prioritize. I agree that the heat/air units are noisy, but at this time of year (spring) we...

This is an older motel but is very clean and reasonably priced. All rooms are exterior but it was very quiet at night. A sidewalk is in front of the motel allowing you to walk about a quarter mile to downtown Black Mountain. I had a king bed in a decent sized room. The TV was an old tube type...

The ammenities here are top notch. Rooms are clean, staff is excellent. Highly recommend this property for families with young children. They will not be bored! The Unwashables left their mark here. We will return.

Forget staying in this dive! If we hadn't been so exhausted from being lost on the highway for a spell we would have packed up and demanded our money back and searched for another spot. It was near the place we were visiting so we gave it a chance. I have worked in the hospitality industry most of my life...

The brief moment I spoke with someone at the office was pleasant. He was polite and friendly. The room itself was very outdated. I had to pull up a chair to get to the control nobs to air conditioner/heater and the controls were backwards. It was a non-smoking room, but had burns on top of the mini frig and a...

My boyfriend and I were in town visiting friends. We are in the area for about 4 nights. We decided to not book a hotel before our trip. That went okay until Saturday night in Asheville. Every place we tried was packed! And super jacked up prices. So we saw Apple Blossoms and at first we were skeptical. I am...

This hotel is not worth the money at all. Called two weeks ahead and was quoted a price of $49.99. When we arrived we were charged $59.99 and were told that it was a busy weekend and the man I spoke with on the phone must have forgot the price changed. Rooms were very dirty and smelled awful. There were...
