Wonderful location and view of mountains including most beautiful sunset and sunrise. The food was excellent in quaint little rooms, staff superior in their service. One of the highlights was enjoying the cocktail on the deck with the sun setting behind the rolling hills and mountains tops...stunning! The spa was relaxing and we loved to sit in the chairs outside...

Thank you for your review. We are always pleased to read favorable reviews such as yours. You mention watching the sunset from the West Portico, this has always been a favorite at Westglow, even when Elliott Daingerfield built and lived here. He is credited with stating "the sun is never glaring, always glowing". We look forward to seeing you here...

WestGlow! It's a beautiful all inclusive resort and spa which is 5 star experience and surrounded by a paradise of mountains. The Life Enrichment Center - especially the "Relaxation" room has heavenly view of the mountains, sky, rolling clouds, fog, and snow as you listen to serene quiet music and relax. For my two hour spa treatments, the facial and...

My husband and I came here for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. It is a bit pricey however we knew someone who worked here that was able to give us a friends and family rate of $80-90 per person for the couples massage. It was one of the best massages I've ever had and my husband said his...

Thank you for your comments. We are glad to know a fellow owner of a day spa and salon would comment you had the best massage you've ever had at Westglow. We appreciate your opinions regarding the design and decor of our facility, we feel it is appropriately soothing and relaxing and in keeping with the design of the historic...

We chose to stay as Christmas gifts for each other. Having never heard of Westglow, we were unsure of what to book or expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find the mansion was very quaint but not as homey as a bed and breakfast. We opted for all inclusive which came with 3 meals and a spa service per person...

A quiet, perfect anniversary weekend. The staff are gracious; the spa is serene. I lucked out and ended up with a one -on -one session with an amazing yoga instructor who taught me more in an hour than I have learned in all other yoga classes combined. (Wish I could remember her name; she is a retired nurse). We stayed...

The Westglow manshion is impeccably kept and staying there feels like staying back in time when butlers and maids discreetly provided all the luxuries of an opulent, however subdued and stylish lifestyle on a private estate. The drawing room is amazing and the views are breathtaking all around. My room was small, but adequate as I was staying on my...

All aspects of a first class hotel were met with flair. The property has an almost 360 degree view of awesome views including sunrise and sunset. Outside areas very comfortable. Perfect wedding views. The staff never missed an opportunity to be helpful and gracious. The property is well restored and unmolested and well worth visiting. It is a hotel, but...

Stepping out of my car at the Westglow, I realized I had reached a spectacular pinnacle on the Blue Ridge with views on 3 sides. I took every bit of gracious service offered from valet parking and help with my bags to the complimentary champagne cocktail on arrival. The staff at the main inn is exceptional and the service consistent...

We just went for dinner, and it was magnificent. The view, the house, the food were all wonderful. It's a really special place, and it feels like a private discovery because it's small and far away from everything. The restaurant is open to non-overnights guests, so a meal is a great way to enjoy this beautiful spot.

We were two couples on a road trip in sports cars up the Blue Ridge Parkway to Westglow. Just a hop off the Parkway to a small paradise. Historic home, lovely rooms in the mansion, staff that was friendly, courteous, attentive, terrific spa treatments, gym, sauna, steam, views, dinner at Rowland's in the mansion with three bottles of wine, wonderful...
