Lovely and spacious rooms. Ckean. Great location. Friendly staff. Improvements needed: 1. Reliable wifi 2. Reduce price since there aren't any amenities 3. Offer traditional breakfast options. The breakfast food delivered to the room is subpar based on how much the rooms cost. 3. Brighter lights.
Our stay was great. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. We always had a parking spot, and the staff was always helpful with anything we needed. The price is a little above average, but it was worth the peace and quiet. I would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely stay again.
This place is like a showroom of some nice interior design . Literally empty shell . We stayed for one night , the place doesn’t have anything but beds and bathrooms . No amenities. They even don’t have coffee in the rooms . No bar , nothing ! What they call light breakfast is more a light snack . They bring it to the room , like a banana , yoghurt , and a pastry ! They brought me tea with no sugar ! They don’t think and don’t want to think about their clients . Instead we are just money bags . Stay , sleep and leave . That works for a $100 per night place but I paid over $300 a night and I want service , I want concept . I want something to come back to . Nice furnishings will not do ! I have that at home too . And if you praise yourself in being so clean and crisp why do I find dust on the blinds ? No I’m sorry , this place will go out of business for sure with this concept . They will either change or fail !…
Fantastic stay with great service. We walked to restaurants and into town every day. The staff is excellent and very helpful . We will definitely stay here again.Room 102 was as peaceful and quiet. You can walk to town or a short drive to Boone or grandfather mountain
Great potential but thoroughly missed the mark. Free Wi-Fi is advertised but it only worked about 25% of our stay, sign in and get thrown off every 5-10 minutes, extremely irritating. Wi-Fi calling never worked which was necessary because our cell carrier had very poor coverage in the mountains. In room hard line phone only accepted local calls so my husband could not talk to his mother who was in the hospital. Continental breakfast was a soggy muffin in a cellophane bag, over ripe banana or apple, yogurt and coffee but no cream or sugar. We stayed there 5 nights while house hunting and nothing improved, even after we complained. Rooms are nice, spacious and well decorated but horrible lighting. Bed pillows were hard as a rock and when I asked for a new pillow, I got the same thing. All my complaints are easily fixed if the owner/manager takes an interest but as it stands now, I would not recommend staying there, way overpriced!…
We were spending one night in Blowing Rock on our trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway. We stayed at The Manor and it was the perfect place for us. It has recently opened and, therefore, has a very "new" feel. It is located within easy walking distance to downtown and has a parking deck for off-street parking. Breakfast was brought to our room at a time that we selected and it was yummy. Heather was particularly helpful and nice when we were making our reservation and during check-in.
This is a beautiful hotel, very modern and very clean. All members of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was very good delivered to your room every morning. We had a room with balcony right on the very busy road. Sitting outside was Extremely noisy!! The back side of the hotel is very beautiful with little brook and no balconies??? I feel this hotel is overpriced but very nice
The Manor promotes itself as boutique luxury inn with concierge services. While the inn has good bones, it is poorly executed. From a service perspective, there was no concierge service. The manager even said, "if we make specific recommendations, we could get in trouble". Really??? Breakfast was a major disappointment: no coffee available except with your delivered breakfast at a specified time. AND there was only fake Coffeemate. Seriously??? From a room and decor perspective, it was disappointing. There was not enough lighting and the lighting that was provided was sterile white LED lighting. There were no accessible plugs (who doesn't travel with several devices these days) and not enough hooks to hang jackets, clothes, etc. The TV provided was too small and too far away from the bed to be useful. I was hopeful that The Manor would be a nice stop for us, but we were sadly disappointed.…
My husband and I are so thankful we found The Manor! It made our visit to the Blowing Rock area so enjoyable. It was so nice to spend our days in Blowing Rock and the surrounding area and return to relax in our spacious room. The Manor is a gorgeous new boutique hotel with very comfortable rooms. The hotel is beautifully furnished. Our room was also very quiet. The best feature of The Manor is its amazing staff! Everyone was so welcoming and very helpful. The staff was always willing to assist in any way. The hotel offers a light breakfast service delivered to your room, which was a nice way to start our day. Even the bath amenities are top notch. Everything about The Manor was thoughtfully planned out to offer guests a wonderful experience. We enjoyed our stay so much we reserved our next visit in October before we checked out.…
