Enjoy your stay in Boone!
We just enjoyed a two night stay at Comfort Suites Boone. We arrived on a rainy Friday evening, and the check in agent welcomed us with friendly service and recognized my Choice Hotels status with a snack bag gift - a nice touch after our long day of driving. We were given a suite on the second floor, which was convenient for us during our stay since that is where breakfast is served. The suite was spacious enough for our family of five, with room for everyone's bags, and it was clean and well-stocked with toiletries and towels. I do wish I had asked for a quieter room on the back of the hotel, but the traffic was only bothersome when a large truck passed. The breakfast selection and service was great. We couldn't ask for more options, since everyone in our family wants something different. We all found something we liked. The breakfast area can get a little crowded, but everyone was polite and courteous. The parking is easy, and we had no trouble finding a spot. We used the indoor pool both nights, and it was well-maintained with plenty of towels each time. The location next to Troy's Diner made dinner the first night a breeze, too. I would absolutely return to Comfort Suites Boone when we visit family in the area gain.…
Very nice stay in Boone, NC. The hotel staff was very nice, room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had very nice choices of pre packaged items along with hot food. We would stay again if coming to Boone. Only problem is Boone traffic is horrible and cell service is bad too, but not the hotels fault.
We wouldn't stay here again only because of the attitude of the staff. Breakfast wasn't very good. Mostly cold cereal or toaster items. They can blame covid, but other hotels still provided a nice hot breakfast. Room was ok but on a very noisy street, so was awakened quite early in the morning with trucks going by.
Well we stayed for almost a week ,they had a few employees that really went above and beyond! Dominique,Abby, were great and helpful! John who worked evenings at front desk was friendly and did a great job! Dont expect much for getting your room cleaned! We had towels, and essentials, but every time you put out your clean the room list, you came back at 4 in the afternoon and they were still cleaning empty rooms? Never seen that before! No hot breakfast! Guess Choice is letting everyone else go back to normal, but charge you full price for partial service! If not for the friendly crew members,we would have moved elsewhere.
This was our second time staying at this motel and it doesn’t disappoint. King suite was very clean and comfortable. Love the walk-in shower instead of a tub. Bed was even more comfortable than my bed at home. They have several COVID-19 protocols in place. As soon as we got into the room, discovered the TV was messed up. Called front desk and they came and switched it out in a few minutes. Only quibble was the free breakfast. Although they said that COVID restrictions selection, their breakfast selections were even more limited than expected. They only had a few prepackaged items that barely qualify as a continental breakfast. We decided to go out for breakfast.
