We have stayed at this hotel before and it was just fine. This time we wanted to run in the other direction. We checked in at 4pm for the night. Was given a room that was dirty and the bed looked like someone had slept in it recently. The next room we were given was not much better........sticky substance on the night stand along with water rings, dust on the other table and a big splatter across the tv screen. There is also a BIG stain on the mattress pad. If we didn't have a 7 hour drive ahead of us we would have immediately checked out. The elevator floor was covered with coffee and the interior walls were filthy. We will never return ........this Quality Inn is NOT quality. The cleanliness rating is only a 7 Do not stay here.
Stayed here many times over the last few years. Extremely comfortable beds. Great service. Great internet. Great cable TV. And has always been very quiet. Highly recommend this hotel. The general manager Kevin was extremely helpful to me that week. Doubt I would search for other hotels in the area since all of my experiences at this hotel have been top notch.
We stayed a couple of nights in this hotel. Not only was it very noisy, but it was also VERY dirty and unmaintained. Mold, bugs, hair… you name it. We will never stay again. Asked management if we could switch rooms, all the rooms that fit our needs were filled. No housekeeping throughout our stay. We ended up having to take our own trash out and reuse towels. Manager and staff were very unhelpful. Head this advice and don’t go. Book a room somewhere else.
I had an issue and had to go back and forth with the third party that I booked through, Kevin the General Manager was beyond friendly and helpful! Was professional and helped me settled my situation, thank you again!
Went to our room and unpacked pulled back the covers and dog hair on the sheets. Went downstairs got another room and when we went it it there was no heat just blew out cold air from fan. Would of moved to different room but to much trouble. Need to update rooms and they need to be cleaned better. Can't believe the housekeeping inspector can't see dig hairs.
I know everyone is short staffed but….. our first room was next to a barking dog. Pet owners please be conscious about leaving your pets alone while you go out. They are frightened being in a strange environment and left by themselves. After i had unpacked, barking got worse so we moved to another room. Floors were dirty. TV was having fits, sometimes worked. Cheapest toilet paper i ever saw. Best to bring your own. Breakfast was awful. 3 mornings I found coffee urns and hot water empty. Only had oatmeal and cold cereal. Did have cold danish, too. King bed was lumpy and furniture very worn. Way overpriced was poor rooms. The poor staff member who manned the front desk also had kitchen duty. He wore many hats.
We understand that we're in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic that's causing labor and supply chain shortages, however, this visit definitely left us underwhelmed. While clean, there was a distinct lack of towels and toiletries in our room - we didn't soap of any sort in our bathroom and the shampoo / conditioner was half-empty. And when we asked at the front desk for additional supplies? We were handed two pool towels and told to find a maid to get shampoo, conditioner, and soap. We eventually ambushed housekeeping staff to beg for toiletries (by the way, the housekeeper was very pleasant, unlike the young man at the front desk who couldn't be bothered with us). The grab-and-go breakfast items were sparsely available, when available at all. The older woman who was replenishing items toward the end of our stay was doing the best she could to keep up and was very pleasant. Unfortunately, it didn't look like she had a lot to work with. The best thing about the property is it was clean and has awesome rockers and a swing on the front porch area...and that's about it. We'll be returning to the area in about a month's time, but it's unlikely we'll return to this property.…
My husband and I were in Boone for the Highland games July 9th -11th and this was all that was available. Great location and the beds were made are the only nice things I can say. Nasty, things broken, tv didn’t work. We paid 220 a night for hair in the tub and all over bathroom floor. There was a rotten orange in view beside the bed. I’m assuming because of Covid they don’t offer housekeeping if you stay two nights because we didn’t get it. If you jack up the prices from $94 a night to $220, at least offer clean rooms. We weren’t expecting the Ritz, but this was horrible
Desk was nice. Halls need vacuum. Trash everywhere. Beds are worse than horrible. You can actually see the lumps when you enter the room Sleeping on floor is more comfortable than the bed. Looks like they could at least afford to replace the mattresses I think these have been here since hotel opened years ago.
There was a young lady by herself at 7pm when we arrive, she was trying to do her best. The king size bed didn’t have a bed skirt, bare mattress. Two of the four pillows with NO pillow cases. When we called the front office, the young lady told us they were having problems with the pillowcases that they had no available. Next morning when we asked to talked to the manager, it was clear the guy was sleeping, poor hygiene, and asked us to write the complaints. The whole hotel is run down and dirty.
