As a NURSE in this area I frequently have to stay close during inclement weather. This hasn’t been a problem in all the years I have worked in Boone until tonight. I was told that I could not check in because anyone within 30 miles is considered local and they do not rent to locals. There is a severe weather storm watch tonight and I am now out looking for another hotel room on a holiday weekend. So NURSES beware if you are booking this online because not only am trying to find another room they would not refund the room that my company has already paid for, I have to call Priceline and try to get my refund from them. I have stayed at Comfort Inn, Sleep Inn, Quality Inn, Laquita, and best of all The Holiday Inn in Boone over the years and never had an issue.
Very clean and very nice breakfast is good. And the check-in and checkout people were wonderful had a nice time staying in your hotel. Probably won’t be in the area again but if I was I would stay at your hotel.
The rooms appeared to have been recently painted and bathrooms updated. There was NO closet or racks to hang clothing on anywhere in the room. The backlit mirror in the bathroom was appealing. Available electrical outlets were no where close to the dressing mirror. The couch was spotty looking and even though there was a round table in the room there were no chairs other than the "desk" chair (no desk in the room). Breakfast items were plentiful and the ladies attending the area were polite and efficient. The breakfast area was far too small for the number of guest trying to obtain breakfast on Sunday morning. Parking was ample and the indoor pool area was very clean with plenty of seating. Good location with nearby restaurants and shopping. Note: this is a dog friendly hotel so be prepared to hear and see them on the premises.…
Don’t do it! It’s only slightly cheaper than other options but definitely not worth it. Our room was dirty, the heat/ac unit didn’t work and was extremely loud. The beds weren’t comfortable. The bathroom supplies were missing and the washcloths were paper thin. Broken microwave and mini fridge that didn’t cook drinks.
Great hotel. I have been traveling 6weeks & mostly staying at Wyndham hotels. This by far, has been one of the best. The room was recently renovated. Check staff was cheerful & helpful. The room was well equipped & clean. Modern bathroom & shower. Breakfast was well set out. I even had a staff come by to check on my breakfast & if I needed anything. Excellent stay
Clean hotel with friendly staff. My only complaint was the mattress. It was lumpy. The room was updated. Breakfast was good, nice clean area with several choices. Location was good. I would definitely stay again.
Inexpensive option in the area with indoor pool, breakfast and nice staff. Pretty clean overall. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had a handicap accessible room and the bathroom was huge! Decent breakfast and lots of info about the area.
We had vehicle problems, had to cancel then rebook when "fixed". Still issues with our vehicle once arricved and staff on multiple shifts were helpful and accommodating. Will stay again if ever in area.
Very friendly staff. Always available to assist. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very nice. Breakfast is good also. Recently been remodeled and they put in walk in showers. The bathroom mirrors are lighted. This is my favorite hotel to stay at anytime I am in Boone. Location is perfect and close to everything.
We stayed here for one night on a quick trip to Boone. The motel is undergoing renovation, but our room had been upgraded. Very nice for a so-called "budget" motel. Decent breakfast too and a very knowledgeable staff,
