This place is pretty epic and worth checking out! They have a jump area where you can practice your mad jumping skills. There is a little airstream trailer where they serve beer. They have special events here with shuttles to nearby trails.
The location is very rustic, but the land and surroundings are beautiful. As for lodging, it felt similar to the living arrangements at summer camp. I stayed in the Barn Apartment with seven other girls and we slept on twin-sized beds (some were bunk beds), we had a living space, and we had one bathroom in our area. On other parts of the property there were other bathrooms and showers available too, though. While the living situation was not fancy, I will say that it was clean and comfortable. The beds were fine, we had plenty of clean towels, washcloths, and blankets, and there was air conditioning. They did warn us about rodents upfront, and that we needed to be careful about any food that we might have packed as the rodents would be good at finding it. We, however, never encountered any rodents during our weekend trip. Overall, I felt like we had all that we needed, and we were able to enjoy our stay. It was definitely a unique but fun experience.…
This place is horrible! We rented the Waterfall Cabin 9 months in advance for a week to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The pictures and description on their website are idyllic for a romantic get away but dont be fooled. This is a dank, run down, mice infested cabin in the woods. Staff never met with us face to face and were unhelpful. We checked in late but had to abandon the place by 230 AM with mice running all over the place. Frankly I dont see how this place could even be legally offered as lodging. There were extension cords all over the place for space heaters, pubic hairs on the sheets, solied towels, dirty bathroom, exposed electrical wiring, broken door lock, dirty kitchen and simply far too much grossness to mention. They did give us a full refund but finding lodging at 230 AM was impossible and we received no recompense for the gross inconvenience. We ended up sleeping in our truck until daylight. If I could give this place negative stars I would heap them on. If this is how they run their $300 a night romantic getaway, I can tell you there is no way I will ever drink their beer. Shame on you Reeb Ranch!…
This rating is specifically for our recent experience staying at the Waterfall Cabin. My wife and I stayed there for two nights. The cabin itself is amazing on the outside and in a wonderfully private setting. However, the interior of the cabin was dirty (the floor feeling so gritty that we kept flip flops around to wear inside), there was no hot water, there was still trash left from prior guests in the kitchen cans, there was a dirty rag left on the bathroom shelf, the "clean" towels smelled, and the dehumidifier in the corner was working hard but failing the solve the musty smell. The final issue (and one that prompted me write this, my first review of anything, ever) was that we found a baby snake (see photos) at the opening of the space behind a desk and the wall - who we initially thought was dead - until we left and came back and it had changed locations. I moved the snake to the woods where it belongs - and was tempted to join it for the evening as opposed to sleeping in that cabin another night. Needless to say, we will not be returning. Hoping that this review helps others avoid the mistake of staying in this cabin when there are so many other options around the area.…
Stayed in a creek-side campsite, the property is beautiful, the pump track was great, the proximity to Dupont is unmatched, and the property managers were very friendly. Will be staying there every time I want to camp and bike Dupont.
