The cabins are beautiful and simple, everything you need. The design of the cabin is pretty remarkable, very well thought out. Check in was super easy. We enjoyed the view and spacious porch. The hammock was a nice touch. It was a great home base for all the things we wanted to do in the area and fun to come “home” to.

Everything about pilot cove exceeded our expectations. Spacious and clean space with appropriate utensils. Loved the concert at the amphitheater. Great location and close to lots of outdoor activities. Highly recommend this place.

We love Pilot Cove. We stayed there for our 4th or 5th time this past weekend and the cabins are consistently delightful. We have stayed with multiple families in multiple cabins - which is super fun, but also as just our family for a weekend before or after our child’s summer camp. The cabins and grounds are just as they are pictured on-line. Everything is clean and functional and so well designed! My personal favorite is morning coffee on the porch in those great Adirondacks. Thanks for creating such an oasis in Brevard!!

Love this place! This is our third time staying here and we can't wait to come back. The location could not be better. The cabin is very spacious and comfortable - we could have stayed for months. Looking forward to coming back - I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Brevard.

Cabin was very nice and clean and unexpectedly in the middle of town...good location for exploring multiple sights in the region, but about 40 minutes south of Asheville. Very comfortable beds, full-service kitchen, separate toilet, shower, and sink areas a plus! A few bugs, spiders, and large ants joined us inside, but maybe normal for NC in the forest?! It wasn't terrible, just would've been nicer without them!

Response from Pilot Cove, Owner at Pilot Cove : Forest Lodging
Responded 1 week ago
Thanks for the feedback Jessica! Yes our property is essentially part of Pisgah NF. Bugs, snakes, bears, etc are part of the territory! That said we work to stay on top of the cleanliness of the cabins for our guests to enjoy. We'll provide the info to our pest treatment company for further attention. We hope to host you again soon!

Everything the ads presented were accurate and did not disappoint. Great place to getaway, but not too far from civilization. There are walking and biking paths a few few from the cabin and altogether pleasant atmosphere. My husband and I had a restful and lovely anniversary.

These cabins are wonderful. Great bedding, seating area, dining table, outdoor seating. Everything you could need is there. Great location for hiking and waterfalls. Also, great for going into Brevard for dinner. Staff lives onsite and is only a phone call away. Highly recommend. We’ve been 2 yrs in a row in May.

I hike, camp, and backpack regularly in the Pisgah National Forest. This time it was a quick trip, flying into AVL and staying 3 nights. I booked a 1 BR cabin at Pilot Cove. I was blown away by the wonderful tiny house provided. First the online reservation was easy. The confirmation and excellent instructions for finding and accessing my cabin came within minutes. It's about a 20 min drive ($30 Uber) from AVL just on the edge of Brevard. The place is very well designed and high quality. You enter into a mudroom where you can put your clothes directly into the washer/dryer and hop in the shower (after a muddy day on the mountain). Hot water is immediate. Kitchen is great. It has everything I could want. The expansive windows and private deck make it feel like you're outdoors. WiFi easily handles streaming. Kudos to the team that designed the cabins and built out the entire developnent. Well done! This place is a Gem!

My husband and I rented the efficiency cabin to stay for 4-nights. We used it as our base for several days of biking and hiking. We thought it was the perfect set up! Clean and comfortable! We started our mornings using the kitchen to make bacon and eggs and then set out to Pisgah or Dupont for rides/hikes. Then we'd stop at The Hub/Pisgah Tavern just down the street from our cabin to refresh with a beer on the patio on the way back. So nice to have a hose to rinse bikes and a washer & dryer to toss the sweaty clothes. Great location to get to downtown restaurants in the evening--or just pick up pizza from the nearby Pizza Hut! Before our trip I reached out to Pilot Cove regarding recommendations for biking based on our experience level. Lane replied quickly with helpful information. We would definitely stay again!
