We stayed here in a cabin about 10 years ago and it was fine in the cabin, would have given the cabin 4 stars back then. We are now full time RV users and needed a campsite on short notice on a weekend in Brevard. We called and paid $100 for 2 nights. We did not realize how sketchy the campground would be and there are no refunds. $50 a night for decent cable and internet that is to weak to be used in your camper. When we are paying to camp where there are comfort stations we use the campgrounds utilities to shower and clean up. They have one unventalated restroom facility over 200 yards from the campground. They keep a large fan blowing because it is unventalated. The restroom was pretty clean, but old and patched. Paint peeling off the floor clogging the drain. Like many private parks, campsites are shoe horned together and you open your door to see your neighbors sewer pipe. There appear to be families living there in old RVs. We will no longer pay in advance to stay anywhere. My advice is LOOK first and don't pay more than one night.…
We were really excited to try this place out for our July multi-family camping trip. We have a group of kids who love mountain biking and swimming. We rented one of the family cabins. It had a nice lay out, but it was very dusty. The drapes were dusty & the entire loft smelled dusty. The bed in the downstairs bedroom was very squeaky with even the slightest movement. The pool was well maintained & perfect for all of the children. Unfortunately, the bike trails were completely overgrown and impossible to ride even for the experienced adult members of our group. Also, the family cabins are not at all close to the pool or playground, so that was a hassle. The camping cabins are much closer and would probably be better for families with children who want to use those 2 attractions. Overall, this place was okay. The staff were friendly and the layout of the cabin was perfect. Unfortunately, we probably will not return due to the dust and the proximity of the cabin to the attractions.…
We had the best time at Adventure Village. We stayed in a camping cabin by the babbling brook. Loved the evenings by the fire pit 🔥 . We hiked to many waterfalls and truly enjoyed our stay. We are so looking forward to coming back.
Enjoyed walking m y dog on the trails there, although you pretty much had to find them on your own. Just ask if you don't want to find yourself, there are several trails throughout grounds. Fish pond at night sitting on picnic tables under the bright full moon was nice. Peace and quiet by the babbling creek would put anyone into a coma like deep sleep.
No hot water in the shower, yet the sink two feet away had hot water. Nothing like hiking all day and not being able to shower afterwards. The loft is a joke. A small dog or cat is all that will fit up there, or what you'd want sleeping on the " mattress" that is up there. The day bed mattress have way out lived their lives. Would have been better to bring a sleeping bag and slept on the floor, except it hasn't been cleaned in quite some time. Huge disappointment.
We have stayed at Adventure Village Campground & Lodging for years. We spent the July 4th weekend here. It couldn't have been better. Great place to make memories as a family. We enjoyed the pool, the playground, the friendly family atmosphere, clean facilities, pretty campsites, and the awesome fireworks display they put on. This family has put a lot of effort into keeping this place up and relevant as time goes on. You'd be hard pressed to find a better place. We've stayed in our RV and rented cabins. Always good no matter which one we do.
Saw a post in the Transylvania times for a cabin rental. I needed to burn up a couple of months... prior to a scheduled trip to Wyoming. Booked a cabin ( #3) sight unseen and crossed my fingers. I have experience camping and renting "cabins." I've been on the road for 10 years now. Beautiful cute, well kept spotless cabin next to a little gurgling stream. This "village" includes campsites, RV sites, additional cabins, welcome center office, large pond with 40 lb. catfish, a pretty outdoors swimming pool, and hiking trails. wifi is sketchy and tv service is standard 7 channel. Of course, if you come for the tv or wifi something you are doing is not right. The location is between Rosman and Brevard. White squirrels and waterfalls, Pisgah national forest, 2 excellent fly shops and lots of trophy water. Hiking, tubing, canoe, and mountain biking. Highway 215 in Rosman is famous for bikes riding its switchbacks up onto the blue ridge parkway. Owners are attentive and easy to talk to. Property is well maintained. Dont miss this one... Ron…
The cabins are infested with bedbugs!!!! If you stay here, you will have them also!!!!!! I called to inform Dale of this issue and he is oblivious. He won't compensate me for all this trouble that I inquired from staying in his cabin.I have spent hundreds of dollars. The least he could do is refund my money!!!!!!!!!!
My daughter and I spent a long weekend in one of the small cabins. We loved it! She is 15 and can be pretty picky...but she loved it too! Super friendly and helpful manager/owner. Beautiful and peaceful location.
These cabins are a perfect location to go explore waterfalls in the Jocassee Gorge while also having a 5 min drive to downtown Brevard. They are very clean and have everything needed to clean up and rest after a long day. One of the best things is that they even let your dog stay with you and make sure that everyone who does this has proper flea treatment. It also seemed like a great family atmosphere.
