Hotel's Favourite
This hotel has recently gone through a name change as it was the old holiday inn express. We as a family visit Brevard as one of our annual family trips for the waterfalls, trails, fresh mountain air and the amazing customer service we receive at this hotel. The rooms and public areas have been updated, hotel always very clean and the staff goes above and beyond for our needs. We love this hotel!!!

Clean comfortable friendly staff , rooms large, BILKIS AND Kimberly at front desk extremely friendly and efficient. The real fast staff were always refilling and friendly- Kolria. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. Definitely worth the price.

Personnel were helpful and friendly. Room was clean, even the AC filter was clean as a whistle. Nice room, fair price for leaf season. You are only a half mile from the road to the Parkway, or go the main road to Cherokee and the GSM park. Breakfast was adequate. Very satisfied.

The room was very nice (we had the suite) and the front desk lady Kimberly was very nice and the perfect person for that job. If I could give it 10 stars I would. We were transitioning to a new home and visiting friends in Highlands NC along the way. This made for a perfect location for us. Close enough to Highlands and also to where we had our belongings stored in the Asheville metro area. Thank you from a couple who does not travel much or frequent Hotels often. This was the "Icing On the Cake" for us!!

Very nice.staff was very friendly. Bathroom smelled like bleach which was great. I'm very glad we chose this hotel. Plenty of parking. Prices were very fair and about 20.00 cheaper than the other places nearby

The check-in process was easy. The woman at the front desk (Kimberly I think) when we checked in was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable enough. The woman when we checked out was also super friendly (Bilkis). My issue is with the cleanliness or lack there of. Housekeeping really needs to step it up. Room one: The bathroom clearly wasn’t cleaned. Mildew / mold all over shower. A little bleach and minimal elbow grease could solve this issue… it’s clearly not being cleaned. Shower walls and glass doors also have soap residue from previous guests. Floors filthy and sticky. Counters haven’t been wiped. Very loud, clattering AC unit. We mentioned issue to front desk (Kimberly) and she offered to move us. We quickly inspected the new room and moved. The hotel was sold out and it was really our only option. Room 2: cleaner than room 1. But noticed in the morning that these shower doors and walls also haven’t been cleaned and we found hair in the sheets. 100% not our hair. Totally grossed out and we will not be returning to this hotel. We simply wanted a clean and quiet place to stay. The lack of cleanliness is really unacceptable.…

I was there to pick up my daughter from The Outdoor Academy. Kimberly was so friendly and was able to answer some of my questions about Somme of the flowers in the front of the hotel. She greeted me each time we left or returned to the hotel. She gave us a great map to f the local waterfalls. We will definitely be back!

Average comfort inn in a small town, in need of upgrade, charging grossly inflated prices - $261 for a room with two queen beds, single occupancy. Check-in was very slow, and the front desk staff didn't wear masks, even though there was a clear sign at the entrance that masks were required. Paper thin walls - you can hear all conversations in the rooms next to you. The room was spacious and clean. Amenities included refrigerator and microwave. There was a Keurig coffee maker, full of old water (yuck!), Comfortable bed and pillows. The bathtub drain was almost completely clogged, and water accumulated immediately. One wonders how housekeeping didn't notice, assuming they cleaned the tub. Good water pressure in the shower. A few other items in the bathroom showed neglect: broken hook on the bathroom door, grout around bathtub detaching, etc. Average wifi. Good parking. Breakfast was minimalistic to say the least: not much other than packaged pastries and muffins, and overripe bananas; no milk, yogurt, etc. Overall a very poor value for the price paid.…

We had reservations for two rooms just alike. When we arrived we had to wait at least 15 minutes for the employee to finished with someone on the phone. I understand there was only one person there but at least some sort of apology for our wait would have been proper. We did have reservations for two rooms just alike. Why they has us almost as far apart as they could made no sense to use when were were a family traveling together and it was questioned. Understand the issues with Covid, but their attempt was weak for their breakfast substitute and very limited. The room I was in had major crack in an outside corner in the bathroom. Makes you wonder just how solid the building it. Did not look knew and showed no sign or any repair attempt to it. The room was very decent. The layout was good. Room right at the door was a little tight with closet but over all a well laid out room. …
