My wife and I took an anniversary trip through the Smokey Mountains, and stayed an evening at Fryemont Inn. This is truly a unique gem of a location. They have attempted to preserve much of the older style decor and charm of the hotel, and for the most part, it makes for a great experience. With this age, though, comes...

My husband and I have stayed here 4 or 5 times over the last few years and we just love it. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to make us feel comfortable and make sure we have everything we need. We travel with our pups and they just love it there! I would definitely recommend...

Our family stayed in one of the cottages 11/18/16 while we visited The Polar Express with our little ones. Our experience was wonderful, dining was great and the staff were amazing. Location was perfect as we could easily walk downtown. Would recommend and stay again, thanks. The Riddles

Stayed here last night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lobby very inviting with huge fireplace . Staff was very friendly and accommodating . Room was HUGE, dated , but fine . Nice view of downtown . Added plus , breakfast and dinner were included in price of room. Both meals were very good with plenty of choices. Loved some of...

Stayed the night before a train ride, and although the rooms were clean and spacious, the bed was a disaster, the floors slanted everywhere, the walls were thin and not sound resistant, and the stairs up to the room a trial. I like a rustic location, but this was a bit too much, pretty as the location and the building...

Very interesting place. Cost includes excellent 4 or 5 course Dinner and order off the menu breakfast. Rooms are not extravagant, but the place was built in the 1920s. Strongly recommend for service and character. People we met have been coming there for years. Porch views exceptional, etc.

I've been coming to this inn since 1972, sometimes two or three times a year. That should tell you something. The inn itself is over ninety years old and also has added cottage suites and balcony suites recently. Until this latest trip I have always stayed at the main lodge and enjoyed the fire in the giant fireplace, watching the...

With a nice view of Bryson City and the mountains beyond, this historic inn makes visitors feel right at home. From the blazing fire in the great room's big stone fireplace to the delicious dinners and breakfasts included in the tariff and the simple rooms with quilt covered beds and chestnut wood walls, you will know you are welcomed. I...

My family and I ended up here after a disaster with our reservation at another place. We were riding the train the following morning so needed a room for the night. The atmosphere as you walk in is welcome-home-like with a fireplace, living room set up in the corner, game table, and rocking chair front porch... need I say more?...

This was a surprise trip my wife took me on. Did not have any idea where we were going as she navigated. We were not disappointed. A neat older inn with a lot of history. The room was great and dinner at the inns dining room was very good. Left the windows open and listened to the acorns hitting the...
