We have stayed here multiples times on our way to other places. The location is good with easy access. There are restaurants convenient to the area. We choose to eat Castle Mediterranean just two exits away. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are exactly what you would expect from Microtel. They are clean and have what you need but aren't comfortable for more than a couple of nights' stay. Breakfast is better than it was, but lacking protein options. There are other breakfast options nearby. I normally just bring protein bars. We also bring our own coffee pot, so I can't judge the lobby coffee (room coffee is what you would expect), but I did notice there was no decaf pot. If you want decent shampoo and conditioner, bring your own. But the beds are comfy. Mini fridge and microwave are in the room. Internet for us wasn't good this time as it cut out frequently, but it was no problem on our previous stay.

We were here for one evening. The room was clean although a few stray hairs (not mine!) were near bathroom sink. Beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast was typical for this type of hotel and they did offer a waffle maker. The issue we had is that our room was right off the lobby. The entrance door literally chimed ALL NIGHT LONG for every late arriving guest. The evening desk attendant carried on conversations with guests too. You could hear every word! At 3am I finally put in my earbuds, turned the volume up and did the best I could to sleep. AVOID any room near lobby! I have now read other reviews on Booking.com where I booked. I think they must put all third party bookings in rooms like this!!!!

This hotel is in the right location - just as you exit the highway. It was clean and rooms were large enough. We were happy with our stay. If I drive on that route again, i will be sure stay here again. Breakfast was great - waffles, yogurt, cereal and choice of juice.

This hotel exceeded my family's expectations! I was a little hesitant because it was one of the cheaper ones I had looked at, not being near enough to the area to know what is good or bad I was going on blind faith and reviews. I'm so glad we stayed there! We passed the other hotels I had looked up on the way and we definitely chose the right one! My husband said "it was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in, especially for that price" I didn't catch the name of the lady that checked us in but she was so friendly and gave me recommendations on where to take my 1 and 2 year olds for fun. The manager recommended a bbq restaurant, where we had dinner and he gave us a map of the area to refer to. Overall I will definitely stay there again if/when we ever travel that way.

I spent one unfortunate night at a Microtel in Burlington, NC last month. A day after I checked out I noticed an extra $100 had been changed to my card by the hotel. When I called them in hopes of clearing things up, they informed me that there was allegedly a missing pillow from my room. They further stated that if I returned the pillow they would return the $100. Obviously, I can’t pay the ransom of a pillow that I didn’t take. So I spoke to 3 employees to include a manager urging them to check the video evidence to see that I didn’t take anything. They have yet to return my money that they stole from me. The fact that they charged me without so much as a phone call proves that their intention is to scam me, and who knows how many other's out of the $100, and hope I didn’t notice. It’s clearly not to find their phantom pillow. I have no plans of further visits with this chain nor to let this lie. To add insult to injury, I actually fixed their leaking toilet that was in my room free of charge.

Hotel told me it was policy to hold my credit card for a block of rooms for a conference but that under no circumstance would I be charged for any of the rooms. Each individual person was to pay for their own room and the block was to be released the day before. They charged my credit card for eight rooms without notification. When I disputed with the Burlington hotel directly they couldn't help me. When I called corporate they wouldn't help me. So I have $1000 worth of hotel rooms on my credit card. Will never stay with Wyndam again!

Checked in on Friday April 29, 2022 , 8:30 p.m. and checked out Saturday April 30, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. Room was clean and nice, but only one tiny soap. I felt I was being overcharged with rate of 159.00 for One Queen size bedroom suite, when website said 69.00 to 94.00 per night, plus I did not receive the senior discount.
I asked for a receipt Saturday morning April 30, to confirm the 159.0O charge to my credit card, I was told that the receipt was sent to my email address. I have not yet received a receipt confirmation email as of today May 1, 2022 11:30 am.. I called this Motel in Burlington for 2 days to get the confirmation receipt sent to my email. I was told 2 different situations regarding the rate and the email confirmation receipt. I will not stay here at this motel again. I

Absolutely the worst bed we’ve ever had in a hotel. I would highly recommend that a person go anywhere else in Burlington. It was a cheap metal platform bed with flimsy mattress. Horrible experience ! The location was a newer hotel and we’ve stayed in other Microtels with pretty decent beds but this was just horrible!’

This could be a great hotel. Definitely some effort put in by someone, just not the employees. The paint splatters on the door, how expensive is masking tape really? The rest of the hotel looked updated. And clean. The snotty attitude from the front desk in the evening really wasn't anything we needed. Vans playing loud music parked right outside our room, and the front desk blew it off as not their problem. Its in your parking lot..
There's plenty of other places nearby, and I'll be trying one of them next time I'm staying in Burlington.

Some of the reviews made us a bit apprehensive but our experience was just the opposite of the negative comments. Staff was cordial and helpful, room was clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Not large but that is why it's called Microtel. The breakfast variety was sparse but I would not call it bad. We left well fed. If in the area, we would definitely book again.

I believe they do, but you need to call and make sure. Each Microtel is owned differently. they are franchises. I didn't see any here. This is a new facility.
