Just got home from an overnight stay at the Cape Pines Motel. My family normally stays in Avon at a house rental, but we decided to do a quick overnight trip and picked Cape Pines because of positive reviews. The reviews are correct. Our room was HUGE (Two Queen beds w/microwave, fridge) and extremely clean (and I'm pretty picky). The...

As a family of four we stayed at Cape Pines Motel for one night. At checking, we were assigned a very spacious room with two double beds and even a dining table by a friendly guy. The beds were very comfortable so we had a calm night with good sleep. There is a supermarket within walking distance where you can...

I was on a whirlwind trip to visit all the lighthouses in NC. After climbing Currituck, Bodie Island and Hatteras, this place was nice to come to and close to the ferry. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. A small microwave and fridge were in the room, but I didn't use them. I would stay here again.

My lady and I needed a weekend away from Charlotte, so we made the long drive to Buxton, one of our favorite spots in North Carolina. We had made a reservation at Cape Pines for one of their Pet Friendly Rooms. The room was quaint and clean. The dog run area was larger than we expected and Harley, our four...

Cape Pines is an older but well kept motel reminiscent of those Mom and Pop motels of the 1960's. Our room was very clean, spacious and had a small refrigerator and microwave. The TV was an older tube type. No breakfast here but complimentary coffee is offered in the front office. Cape Pines would be my first choice if in...

My boyfriend (now husband!...we got engaged on an OBX trip a year ago!) and I happened upon Cape Pines a couple years ago and, now it's the only place we'll stay. We usually make 2-3 visits there a year and it's consistently good. The staff is friendly and accommodating to any needs; the rooms are clean and have a cute/vintage...

This unassuming little place right off the main road was a gem. We were pleasantly surprised. The people we're very nice and the room was beautiful and clean. We were looking for a last minute place to stay for one night. I found the motel online and called to book the room. The staff person was very polite and helpful. We had an efficiency and stayed for two nights with our dog. The room was large and very clean, in a great location with a supermarket opposite and on the main road through the island. Staff were very helpful and the grounds and buildings were kept in very good condition. Would highly recommend this motel.
