We were lucky to get the last available cabin, Smokey Mountain Cabin, this past Labor Day weekend on our very last minute trip to Asheville. I called first thing Friday morning, talked to Rick and booked immediately. When we checked in that night, Rick and Tom were very welcoming and told us to let them know if we needed anything.... We stayed here over Labor Day weekend because all the hotels in the area were already sold out by the time we started making reservations. What a find! Rick and Tom are such gracious hosts and the breakfasts were delicious. We stayed in the Engadine Suite, and it's very private and romantic. I would highly recommend this B&B, lots of... More

Labor Day and other holiday weekends can get a little crazy in Asheville, so Tom and I are glad you found us and that you enjoyed your stay. Also, as the "chef" (just one of many hats a B&B owner wears!), I'm especially pleased you liked the breakfasts. I always tell people that I want to send the off for... More

We left a kindle behind and they mailed it to us. What great and friendly hosts they were throughout our stay. The cabin was immaculate and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again when visiting the region which we hope to do again real soon.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Engadine Suite! It is on the 3rd floor and has a sitting area with comfortable leather chairs. It's a large suite that has a king bed and lovely furniture throughout. The breakfast was scrumptious! The bacon(brown sugar, pecan) was absolutely the best I have ever tasted. Another best ever were the fresh, chocolate... More

My partner and I definitely enjoyed our stay - Tom and Rick were very friendly and attentive innkeepers. The rooms are huge and comfy. The old house is surprisingly quiet (a testament to its' strong bones). The innkeepers are currently making changes to the grounds and landscaping, so it will be interesting to see the inn continue to evolve. Although... More

The Inn was gorgeous and beautifully furnished, not really anything else I could have wanted. Breakfast served in a dining room and the quality and quantity was great. Found that they also have cabins on the property that are pet friendly so will definitely be coming back and bringing doggie next time.

We stayed here in the Captain's Room for our anniversary, and the experience was phenomenal. Tom and Rick provided an excellent atmosphere to relax in, and the breakfasts were fantastic. One day, we had a blueberry bread pudding- type of dish and some of the best bacon I've ever had. The next day, we had a quiche with bell peppers,... More

We stayed in the Captain's room in the main house. The armoire in the room has a koala face on it, go check it out. We explored the other rooms and all are beautiful. Tom and Rick are fantastic hosts and prepare excellent breakfasts. The evening munchies are great too. They make you feel welcome and comfortable. Next time we'll... More
