My husband and I stayed here July 14-16th. We had a small room facing the street and although the room and bathroom are tiny they were clean. We always had clean linens and didn't experience any problems. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't bring my kids due to the small space in the rooms but it...

The people who own it were super nice and take care of the hotel very well. They did a very good job at cleaning the rooms and the linens were in great condition. We had a room facing the street which wasn't bad since I did have ear plugs (they apologized that we got stuck with a room facing the...

Very clean. Pool is small but clean and quiet! Love all the potted plants around the place. It's a small kind of retro place - think early 60's. Not luxury, but super clean, inexpensive and right across the street from the beach (public access is less than one block away and there is a vacant lot across the street so...

We stayed two nights and it was great. Close access to the beach. Beautiful garden. The pool was exceptionally clean. Owners were very nice. The only complaints was the stairs. We had to go up three flights of stairs with a lot of luggage. The ice machine is in the office but they will give you as much as you...

We stayed for 2 nights. Room was clean and no bugs. The pics here are out dated. There no water stains and TVs are flat screens now. Pillows are hard and bring a blanket too. Just the basics are supplied. If you get the 2 room bring a fan to rotate air. They only have window AC units. It's a...

My husband and I stayed at the Beach Side Inn for a weekend in 2012. We stayed in the king size/with the double in the other room. It was perfect for us.Just one bit of info. Bring an extra fan to circulate the air better. We just waked across the street to the beach. We were able to walk to...

We stayed two nights at the Beachside, the staff was very friendly and accommodating . The grounds smelled incredible and were full of blooming plants, we joked that Mr. Miyagi must be the maintenance man. The room was bare bones, bed, night stand, TV, bathroom with shower, microwave and half fridge. The room was very clean and well maintained, comfortable...

My husband and I stayed one night mid week and it was just perfect. This hotel is a little seedy but I'd recommend it. Not a bad place a t all. I was a bit skeptical with the previous reviews but what more could you ask for from a beach hotel that isn't the Marriott of the Ritz Carlton. It's...

I stayed here during the Azalea Festival weekend. There was also a Chowder cook-off right across the street at the park. Easy to walk everywhere. Good price for being steps to the beach. Very nice clean room, and friendly staff. Nice pool, and pretty setting. Nothing fancy, but for someone who doesn't spend a lot of time in their room...

When we came back to the hotel from dinner, we saw a large cockroach next to one of the beds. We immediately told the front desk who sent their maintenance guy into our room to kill it. When he walked in there were two smaller cockroaches that just entered the room from cracks under the walls. He tried spraying them...
