The Laurelwood Inn is a beautiful mountain retreat in the heart of Cashiers (literally at the town crossroads). As you pull into the drive you are struck by the camp/cabin feel, right away. Two pretty little gazebos sit in the yar, there are a few trickling man made water elements and everything just looks friendly and inviting. We were greeted...

We were in the area to visit friends and visit some flower gardens and parks in the area. It was our first time at Laurelwood Inn. I wished we could have stayed longer. Very peaceful, quiet, restful. Our room was small - two beds, one small bath, but perfectly fine for 2 persons. This is not luxury, but more cabin...

The Laurelwood Inn is well located in the center of Cashiers which makes it possible to walk or drive short distances to everything. The folks who manage it are extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean and the towels much fluffier than customary in a hotel. I loved the seasonal decorating and the lobby where bottled water, coffee...

Amazing how you can pull into the driveway and immediately feel like you're in the woods, even though the location is right on the main road. The proprietors have created a beautiful oasis, complete with lit gazebos, a little fairy creek and plenty of trees. Our room was clean, cozy and just what we needed for a couple of nights...

Quick fall weekend with my teen to see the waterfalls and mountains, enjoy cooler temperatures, and get out of the big city for some relaxation! This property met all our needs - central location, quiet, well kept, and the price was right. While Highlands has more charm with its shops and restaurants, it also comes at a higher price and...

We found this by looking online and decided to drive up from Highlands, NC to check it out. We stayed in the 300 building and our suite was very nice. This is the newest interior remodel on the property. The furniture was modern and the bathroom nice and spacious. Our suite had a separate living area with sofa and flat...

What a great little getaway. This Inn Is located right off the main road and right along the walking trail that takes you around the town. The room we had was a two bedroom suite complete with a small kitchen, two bathrooms and a small living room/sitting area. It was perfect for our couples getaway. The kitchen complete with small...

We stayed here after reading all the positive comments. I agree with all. It is so quiet and comfortable even though it is close to everything. The setting has lots of trees around. We stayed in the 2 story suite. It was so comfortable and sparkling clean. There is a nice area for gathering, playing games, or watching TV at...

We booked our suite for a long weekend and family wedding over Labor Day. We enjoyed being able to sit and visit with family on the roomy porches and watch our grandkids enjoy the playground equipment. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The front desk personnel offered good suggestions on where to eat and visit area attractions like the waterfalls....
