We have stayed at this Hampton a total of 4 times. Our room is always clean and well stocked. The morning breakfast is excellent and the coffee is wonderful! My husband loves the afternoon cookies….a great added treat!

Stayed overnight while in town for a medical appointment. While the rooms were great, I was disappointed with their lack of a hot breakfast. I know all about the COVID excuses. I have stayed in many other Hampton Inns in the past few months and most all of them are offering the hot breakfast in a safe and clean way and doing a good job. Sorry, I don’t buy the excuse for not providing it here. Other than that, good night’s stay.

Carishma at the front desk went above and beyond to deliver a great experience in hospitality.
We stopped by Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts for a cup of coffee and both were closed before 9pm. Upon arrival to the hotel my wife asked if there was any coffee available. She first offered the coffee pouches for the in-room coffee makers but after reading our facial expression she quickly offered to brew a fresh pot and made our day. That’s hospitality at its best.

I am a loyal Hilton honors member. I book through the app and use some points to help pay for my stay. I do not travel for work so all our stays are with my family and for fun. That being said I have never been charged so much for a hotel as this one. I was charged initially $ 97 for room (with points) and told once I got there that I owed another $75 for incidentals that would be reimbursed in 4-5 business days ( which by the way means I am paying interest on that) . Then... this morning I was charged another $81 which when I callled they said was the actual price of the room. When I called the hotel to ask they told me that the $75 and $97 would be reimbursed by Thursday of next week ( 6 days from now) but that if I don’t get reimbursed to then call them back. This means I will need to continue to monitor my credit card over the next week to make sure they actually do it. My husband and have full time jobs and are very busy. We are traveling to drop off our dtr in college. We try to plan things to make our life easier... not harder. I am very disappointed in this policy of random excessive charges and hoping this will not be at all Hampton inns now because I will no longer continue to be a customer. Really why can’t they just go up to the room and see that it’s in perfect order and reimburse it right away? Ridiculous!
Other then this... hotel was quiet, clean and very nice to stay.

Hotel and room were clean. Check in was efficient and fast. Convenient location right off 40. Breakfast selection was poor and only good for a quick coffee and frozen fare. Not that we expected much more but some cut up fresh fruit or fresh bagels would make this breakfast much better. Would stay here again as value was good.

This hotel is very clean, the staff were kind, hospitable and responsive. While I give the facility and amenities a “5”, I could wish they’d relegate all guests with pets to the upstairs floor ONLY. We heard a dog barking down the hall from us as well as one above us at one point. The redeeming thing is that the manager graciously moved us to a different room where we couldn’t hear the barking as they had one room left! I would make a return visit, though. Portable MARPAC white noise is wonderful!

We stay at Hampton Inns frequently (in fact, we stayed at two on this particular road trip), and although they vary in quality, we have never previously stayed at one in which a sewage smell pervaded the room! The smell was so bad our first night that it actually woke me up in the middle of the night. Suddenly, there was a very loud sound of some kind of compressor, and the smell went away. Fortunately, the second night, everything was fine.

When we checked out, I mentioned this at the front desk, and asked politely if anything could be done, such as offering Hilton Honors points. The kind young man at the desk sent the head of maintenance to speak with me, and he, too was very kind and understanding. He didn't seem surprised by my report of either the smell or the noise, and explained that there is water beneath the hotel and sometimes when he arrives early in the morning, he can smell the sulphur smell when he drives up. He also said the compressors can be quite loud and that our room was actually not the closest room to one of the compressors.

The manager authorized 5,000 Hilton Honors points to be added to my account, and the hotel followed up with an email asking me to contact them if I had other concerns. Although I wouldn't risk staying there again, I very much appreciate the professionalism and courtesy with which I was treated, and as a long-time Hilton Honors member, will certainly continue to stay at Hilton properties (did, in fact, stay at a lovely Homewood Suites in Cincinnati on this very trip).

This is for Hampton Inn Chapel-hill NC. I was charged for another persons room and called Ebony this morning to tell her what had happened. The gentlemen in from of us checking in had a hard time using the credit card machine. When we checked out on 9/28 I questioned the lady as to why I had three pending charges from Hampton Inn. I was told there must have been a mistake and two of the pending charges would fall off the visa. Well only one charge fell off and both the other charges were posted to the credit card. So I called Monday because I had to speak to a manager (Ebony) about the charges on my credit card. She was rude and very disrespectful and kept telling me it was the banks fault etc etc. She told me that someone else would never be charged for another persons room…. this was a lie. She was not listening to anything I said and refused to even believe me. After 28 minutes of this banter I asked to speak to someone else. The next manager came on the phone and ran our credit card number and saw there was the additional charge for the guy that checked in before us, literally like I had been saying all along. I work in customer service everyday and would never treat anyone with the amount of disrespect Ebony showed me this morning, totally unprofessional and completely disrespectful on every level.I’m still upset about it 6 hours later. So no I will never ever stay at this hotel again and will let everyone know how we were charged for someone else’s room as well until my dying breath.

After checking in I didn’t check the room 1st big mistake. The Kitchen counter was very dirty with black and brown stuff on it. The kitchen sink had left over traces of food in it and the living room foot rest, floor and couch had white stuff one it.

We were charged for someone else’s room and the manager made us handle it with our bank. Didn’t offer any apologies when their employee was the one that made the miss take. They also had roaches and centipedes in the room. Not acceptable for the amount of money you have to spend. Do not stay here!

We had a fridge no microwave, room was very clean, they have an airport shuttle, but I'm not sure what other destinations they provide.

Renovations seemed to have been completed when we were there except for the small area off of the top floor elevator. I would imagine that it is finished at this point. I don’t know about the pool. I think it was indoors but not sure and if it is, it is heated.
