We stayed for 6 days and had our daughter's wedding on the property. The mountain farm atmosphere was a perfect venue. Owners Marc & Pam were great. We have been in each of the cabins. They are nicely furnished and very comfortable. Mountain views everywhere. Three Bear is located About 35 minutes from Asheville and 20 from good restaurants in...

My wife and I stayed at Poppa Bear Cabin over the weekend and had an amazing and very memorable time!!! To be quick, I'll just bullet-point: 1 - Amazing views - took so many pictures! The pictures on-line don't do it justice!!! 2 - Very hospitable owner, Marc (didn't meet his wife) 3 - Loved the animals (cows, cats, chickens,...

My husband and I stayed in Mother Bear Cabin, which is beautifully decorated, clean and tidy. Farm items for breakfast where on our counter upon arrival - fresh eggs, bread, granola,& jam. The location was quiet and serene with gorgeous views. The owners were attentive to our well being and were very friendly and helpful. There are cows, goats, bees,...

I learned about this location through a Living Social offer. We picked a weekend and had a great interaction with the owners through email. Their communication was friendly, thorough, and informative. We arrived late in the afternoon and couldn't believe the lovely scenery and location as we drove in. It's very convenient to I-40 from two different exits. Our "Poppa...

The cabins at three bear holler are amazing!! In a world where everything in life is so fast paced it was wonderful to find a place that helped us remember what is most important. Spending time together without phones ringing and bad news on tv we were able to really unwind. The cabins have everything you need and more. The...

I must say me and my family really enjoyed this place, truly a piece of heaven on earth. My wife and I needed to get away just to clear our minds and it work. The cabin was rustic and nice fresh eggs and bread on the table waiting on us. We also had a very wonderful encounter with the owner...

Amazing place created by amazing people. Marc and Pam were wonderful and they've worked incredibly hard to create a wonderful getaway with their cabins at Three Bear Holler. All three cabins are lovely -- we stayed in Mama Bear -- but got to check out the other two cabins and honestly it would be a toss up to say which...

We kicked off our honeymoon with a four-night stay at Baby Bear Cabin and could not have been happier with the experience (our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer). After a long 13-plus hour drive, the warmly lit cabin could not have been more inviting and the wine bar and gift basket was a wonderful treat after a...

Stayed for a short weekend, but got to the cabin late Friday and never left until Sunday and didn't want to go then either. Hiked up to the owners cabin and WOW!! What a beautiful view and such a lovely home...but the Poppa Bear Cabin was EXTREMELY comfortable, private and the views from the front porch were incredible. tried on...

We stayed here on the tail end of the early season snow storm....the roads were clear by the time we went out...there were still patches of snow here and there which made very pretty pictures with the different color leaves. We stayed in Baby Bear and it more than suited our needs. Two things that I found a bit disconcerting:...

“All cabins have great views.”

“We stayed at Baby Bear Cabin, which was a good size for two adults.”

“Papa Bear has steep stairs leading to the upper story with the beds. The roof line is very steep and low at the top of the stairs. If you need to go to the bathroom during the night, the bathroom is downstairs. Ten years ago this would not have been a problem....now it is some of one:( Remember to watch your head when you reach the top step. The ceiling is closer than you think.”

“Papa bear has the bedroom upstairs. Mama and Baby bear cabins have the bedroom on the same floor. If stairs are a problem, or if you make a lot of nightly bathroom trips, choose Mama or Baby.”
