The staff is friendly & welcoming. You feel as though you have been friends for a long time. They are knowledgeable about the area and recommended some excellent restaurants. The rooms are well appointed, very clean, spacious and the beds are quite comfortable. The Inn is quiet and located near restaurants, shops and Davidson University. Gordon has a Pedi cab...

I have stayed here several times while doing business in the Charlotte area. My wife joined me for one of those stays. The accommodations are roomy and clean, the sitting/breakfast area is a comfortable place to relax and meet others, and the staff are like old friends and cater to your every need. You can walk to several outstanding restaurants...

My family stayed with Davidson Village Inn during a campus visit for my daughter to Davidson University. The Inn is located in walking distance, very near the campus itself. The staff was very welcoming, the rooms were tidy, and everything was well organized. In the morning, a nice buffet for breakfast is offered. It has pastries, muffins, toast/bagels/English muffins, fruit,...

From check-in to check-out, our visit was delightful. Our room was spacious, thoughtfully appointed, and quiet. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in their comfortable living area. The hostess even warmed scones for us. The Inn is lovely, but what makes it special is the staff, who are friendly yet not intrusive. Of course, its location is excellent. There are several...

This was our first time at the Davidson Village Inn. We were in Davidson for an engagement party and were given a choice of several area hotels. So glad we selected the Davidson Village Inn! The hotel is charming. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The continental breakfast is something special. Fresh everything, fruit, pastries. The staff is so...

The Davidson Village Inn is in a great location in the middle of downtown and across from Davidson College. The rooms were clean. For a true bed and breakfast the breakfast was disappointing but we had a great time walking around the town and the college.

Thank you for the positive feedback, we're sorry that our breakfast didn't meet your expectations. Unlike a "true bed & breakfast" the Inn does not have the facilities to prepare food so our breakfast selections consist of locally sourced fresh baked goods, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, juices, and fresh ground coffees. We try to have something for...

My brother lives in Davidson and this was the perfect place to take my niece. She loved the library and learned to play Yatzee here! The feel was homy and comfortable. It was a pleasure to meet a staff that truly enjoys interacting with guests. I can't wait to return next year. Thank you Liz and Joy for your genuine...

The Davidson Village Inn has an outstanding location (across the street from Davidson College and around the corner from Main Street), but the service is the true differentiator. All the employees are helpful and happy and clearly take their lead from the owners. The Innkeeper (Gordon) enjoys offering tours on his pedicab around town and the college. He gave us...

Highly recommend this inn. Friendly, helpful folks here. They will do their best to accommodate your needs. The rooms are nice, comfortable and more than satisfactory for a weekend getaway. This group of long-time friends meet at a different location annually. This is a winner!
