The staff were all very helpful and nice.
The breakfast was well kept, and replenished. The area and seating was kept very clean.
The hotel had a very pleasant appearance, especially with some not as nice looking hotels nearby.
There were a couple minor stains in room on permanent furnitures, but overall the room was clean, towels were clean and soft, and the hot water in the shower was very good. The value for the stay was great.

The property was clean , and the few people I interacted with were polite. The front desk person did not wear a mask, and that concerned me a bit. The problem was with the room. I have a mobility impairment and I was careful to book an accessible room. It was on the 6th floor. The room was at the opposite end of the building from the elevator, so it was difficult to get to, but I made it. The temperature of the room was set to 60 degrees F, colder than outside. There was no blanket in the room, just a sheet and thin bedspread on the bed. The temperature controls were under a large desktop and I could not reach them without crawling under the desk, something I can't do with my disability. I called the front desk. They said they couldn't come up to adjust the temperature for me and I would have to come down to the front desk to get a blanket. Since it would be very hard for me to get to the elevator and to the front desk and back to the room carrying a blanket, I ended up sleeping in my clothes. I was still cold and rather uncomfortable, but I was able to sleep. I also need to plug in medical equipment by my bedside, but the only electrical outlet was underneath the nightstand (created by a large wooden rectangle fastened to the wall) and again I couldn't crawl on the floor to reach the plug. Luckily, I was able to stretch the cord to an outlet on another wall, creating a trip hazard because the cord was in the air rather than lying on the ground. In the morning I called to the front desk to ask if someone would adjust the temperature for me wince I was staying another night and for housekeeping to bring up a blanket at some point during the day. The person said he would put an order in. When I returned in the evening, the temperature was still 60 and there was no blanket. This time I had brought my fleece jacket to the room, so I wore my clothes with the jacket to bed and was plenty warm, but not terribly comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with grab bars in the toilet and shower, but the shower was in a tub rather than a roll-in shower. I was able to manage getting in and out of the tub with some difficulty. Not a terribly accessible room or helpful staff, on the whole. I would not stay there again.

It was a nice stay and it was a comfortable hote . It definitely needs some updating. No pictures on the walls, some carpets coming up, and our king size room was literally empty other than bed, tv and desk with chair. It was good for a night or 2 stay, but I wouldn't want to stay for a longer trip because it wasn't particularly comforting.

I must say the highlight of our stay was the politeness of the staff, specifically Sean, (sp) at the front desk. We were in town for a funeral and just thankful for peaceful nightts' rest. It was a little disappointing that our room was not available for check-in until after 3 pm, due to limited cleaning staff. This posed an inconvenience after traveling 6 hours by car and needing a place to change clothes. However, it is understandable because so many businesses in America are severely understaffed during this time. We ended up moving from 3rd floor to 2nd floor in the middle of the night because our TV in the first room didn't pick up all the channels and the refrigerator was missing. Both rooms weren't really cleaned to my expectations, i.e., countertops/table surfaces, door knobs and fixtures, but nothing a Lysol and Microban trip to Walmart didn't solve. I do a little extra sanitizing during every hotel stay though. There could have been a better job done with vacuuming, as there were particles under the bed skirt and around the frame. The most important part was, the bed, shower and toilets were clean. There was clearly some water damage to the bottom of the bathroom doors and there should be some upgrades made to the structure of the building, i.e., peeling paint and wallpaper. I appreciated the bagged breakfast of fruit, yogurt and muffins as a choice, instead of nothing at all. A few upgrades and some extra elbow grease with cleaning would serve this hotel much justice. The size of the room was great and the bed was comfy. Overall, not to shabby for the price. Thanks!

I am Daminda Manamendra. I reserved 6 rooms for 2 nights month ago for lodging purpose for group of 6 families ( 16 people)at this hotel (La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh/Durham Southpoint,1910 West Park Drive,Durham, North Carolina) in order to attend a wedding that was held in Chapel hill country club, Durum on 16th October(Itinerary # 5136B262509712).
Friday ,15th October I called the hotel front desk around 6 p.m and confirmed that I am arriving around 11 p.m and made sure the rooms are availabile for me.Even one family from our group checked in at 6 p.m. and made sure the rooms would be available for others.
As planned we arrived at the hotel Friday, 15th Oct. at 11p.m. The person who was at the front desk name label Shuanc said the rooms are not available. I really thought he was joking since this is never experienced or heard whole my life. When I called customer service they said my rooms still shows available under my name even though front desk denied to give me the rooms saying they have given it to somebody else.
We were in a nightmare situation trying to find a roof over head driving back and forth in Durham till 2 a.m in the mid night since all the hoels were booked since there was a football game going on .Finally we managed to find only 2 bedrooms in Comfort Inn .3508 Mt. Moriah dr. Duraham . NC. We checked in 2.05 a.m overpaying $ 254.24 per room since it was last minute. Our whole party has to manage the night sleepless until we find another 3 rooms at the same hotel at 9.30 a.m next day ( Saturday , Oct 16th)
Finally we end up paying $1692.37 for mismanagement of Wyndham hotel system.Meanwhile your system still showing that i checked out on Sunday, October 17th.

Hotel has been decent in the past but there were a lot of workers staying there hanging around side doors and parking lot at all hours. Not to mention the fire alarm repeatedly going off…I had to haul my children downstairs and then my room key didn’t work when I returned because it had only been programmed for one night despite me paying for 2 nights per my reservation. The room was reasonably clean but the bathroom had peeling wall paper, black grime around the rim of the sink and perhaps some water damage on the ceiling/walls. Breakfast was scant and most of the mornings, the front desk clerk couldn’t be bothered to assist with issues with some of the equipment.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous time due to visiting a sick relative in the area and have had minor issues but this time was the worst. Won't ever stay there again. They didn't provide what they promised and when asked for basic things that were missing did not have solutions and wouldn't even bring missing items to the room citing I (a disabled person) needed to come to the front desk to get additional towels that were not in the room. The missing shower chair and crib we needed we just had to be without????? UGH What a horrible stay.

The hotel is both clean and pleasant overall, however there are a few things that I wish I had known before booking. For one, there is no fridge or microwave in the room. Second, this hotel advertises free breakfast both on the website and in the hotel itself but there was no breakfast available during our stay. Staff did not mention at any point that breakfast was unavailable and the signage in the building still indicated that it would be available. Also there were only two pilllows per bed and two towels in the bathroom. Not a huge deal but for a room advertized to sleep four it seemed pretty undersupplied.

I stayed here in June 2018 and the hotel was great. So much has changed in two years and while some of this can be blamed for the corona virus some can not.

The road leading to the hotel looks like a bomb hit it. Huge sinkholes (not pot holes) fill that road (cities fault). When you turn into the hotel parking lot there are major breaks in the asphalt everywhere. Needs a major overhaul.

Coming into the hotel there was trash overflowing everywhere. Out front (6pm) and going to the stairs, pool side (which is closed but the can is still overflowing somehow), and in the hallways. It was this way much of the weekend. Spoke with the front desk about this and they said they cut staff due to the virus. OK but one thing you can't cut back on is cleaning. Stairwells and hallways had a dirty look to them all weekend as well.

Room 220 was ok but needs updating. Mattress slumps to the middle making it seem you are sleeping on a roof. Toilet has two major hairline cracks along with the tub.

Came out Sunday morning 6 am to major trash all over the parking lot from losers throwing stuff on the ground from McDonalds. My wife even had to step over a used condom on the sidewalk.

No breakfast due to corona virus and pool closed.

Needless to say we were disappointed in this stay. Some things you understand with what is going on but there needs to be some major improvements at this hotel.

The rooms were not very clean, there were no microwaves or fridge in the room, even though it was said there was when we reserving. The carpets were grimy the bathrooms weren’t clean and even after you pay when you check in there is a 50.00 per room deposit. The guy that checked us in was super nice.

As far as I know, there is no weight restriction and there is no charge. You have to sign a waiver if there are any damages. People staying at the same place had 2 dogs. We stayed at 3 different La Quintas and they were all very nice and handicap accessible. The one we stayed at on 54/40 wqs exceptional.
