I visited this property and stayed two nights in order to meet family members who were staying with friends in the area. The Inn was charming, accommodating and the public living room made a wonderful place to gather a few of us and for me to meet my new great-grandson. Breakfast was relaxed, tasty and offered choices. The entire Inn...

We loved it here-stayed for 5 nights! Amazing breakfast, wow. Love the tea and cookies, turn down service, amazing staff, incredible location, and great value. Durham is an amazing place for a trip and definitely stay here.

Rooms are very comfortable and provide a touch of old world charm. Best breakfast you could ask for. Both superb hot and cold choices. The homemade granola is the best. Snacks and drinks also available at reception.

I was so sick with the flu when I arrived, that instead of going to visit with family, I booked a last minute room at The King's Daughters just to give myself a quiet, restful night's sleep. From the reception filled with complimentary comforts (fresh baked cookies, a candy dish, coffee, tea, a refrigerator full of refreshments, newspapers, city guides,...

We had a weekend wedding, with rehearsal dinner on Friday, and the ceremony and reception on Saturday, NYE, all at the KDI! It was a magical weekend due to part to the atmosphere that is created by the Inn itself, their staff, and the impeccable service! I feel so grateful to have had the experience that we did getting married...

The Bride and Groom booked all 17 rooms for the rehearsal dinner, wedding and New Years !! We were welcomed by first name and instantly felt comfortable. The staff was always there if you needed something but never "in the way". Good coffee always available. Love the port and chocolate with the turn down service. Plenty of nooks to hide...

This weekend I had the opportunity to visit Durham and found the Kings Daughter's Inn as my place to stay. Upon arrival the person checking us in was warm, courteous and made us aware of the pending weather for the area. She made mention that since we were staying the weekend we should check out some of the local fare....

Very friendly and homey place to stay. Breakfast was superb everyday! I will definitely be back! The location is ideal for visiting Duke. It is also close to downtown and the Tabacco district. Only idea for improvement would be a guest laundry facility. I stayed for several nights and I certainly would have used the laundry if available.
